"Actually, there is a restaurant across the street from us," He says, "It's small, but has been growing in popularity. So, they've been getting more shipments of food."

Her wound wasn't bleeding, but it did look like it hurt.

The mare leads you through the restaurant. Going through the kitchen before getting to a hatch in the floor. She opens it and you're blasted by cold air.
She leads you down to the basement. You and Ava had to put your jackets on to not get frozen.
The basement was filled with boxes with food labeled on them and independent foods laying on top of the boxes.
"We keep the basement refrigerated so the food stays fresh." She tells you.

You continue to trot around the basement. You find more holes in boxes, but they appear to be old. Though, the independent food seems to be the most recent feed, as a few are scattered on the floor.
Not finding anymore rats, you return to the first box and grip it. Moving it slightly.
The rat inside of it growls, but doesn't do anything else.

It hisses up at you before getting turned into a pile of ash by your Tesla Gun.
The hole behind the box was big enough for a giant rat to fit through, and it lead to the hotel across the street from the angle.
"How did that get in there!?" The mare screams.

You give her a wad of cloth. Which she quickly bites on.
You take her leg and put it under the hot water. She flinches a bit, but quickly settles into it.
You take the Vodka and open it, preparing to pour it onto Ava's wound.
Before you do that. You notice Ava starts to shake a bit. Clenching her eyes shut.

You couldn't help but smile as you remember that you had to carry Ava around everywhere when she first got out of her stable for a few days. She was afraid of the ground giving her radiation poisoning. She got over it, thankfully.

You're about to thank Nuka, but are interrupted by soft snoring.
Turning, you find Ava has fallen asleep on your back. Cuddling your neck with a soft smile.

He disappears into the stand. You hear several objects being moved before he comes back with a set of thick sticks with metal tops, and old, rusty cylinder cans.

Before you head into the basement, you quickly check on the restaurant across the street. Finding that they have covered the hole with a new, reinforced box.
You and Servo then head back to the hotel and carefully go down the stairs. Turning the light on, you find all the giant rats where asleep on the floor. Spread out across the basement

There's silence for a few moment, then there's fire, followed by blood. Getting rid of a large amount of rats.
The rats that weren't caught in the explosion quickly get up and charge at you and Servo. The two of you quickly start firing at the flood. Servo using his Gatling Laser and machine gun and you using your Tesla Rifle.
They quickly start to advance, but the two of you were killing a lot of them.

After some time, they turn around and start retreating.

You drift off into sleep a few minutes later. Being taken to the land of dreams.

Halfway to the stable, Ava mumbles something before moving on your back. Falling off and landing on a nearby snowdrift. She sleepily curled up in the snowdrift as if it were a blanket.
