>dude I win now lmao
Is anyone else glad these things got written out?

I'd prefer them instead of the new butt paging(tm) friendship alerts.

They now have Discord who can end any danger at any time Fluttershy ask him to.
Starlight and Twilight are aslo too OP for these elements to really matter.

Yes but not for the reason you seem to be; in none of their climactic uses was it as simple as just pulling out the elements and using them. What I hate is that the EoH tended to result in the writers oversimplifying the characters to make them the pure embodiment of their supposed element when in most episodes they really weren't.

I liked em. They were a last resort that had a ton of power, it was like a friendship nuke.
I'm honestly a sucker for earlier seasons before Twilight became an alicorn. Hell I don't even watch the show.

I'd rather friendship and similar things solve their problems, rather than boring violence.
>>28842610
Yes. Their very existance means that any villain threat would just boil down to gathering the "I Win" button in one two parter and winning every single time.

Well said anon. I can't say it better myself.

this is your brain on faustfagging
>>28843123
Eh, I just prefer the old days. Made more sense to me than half of the crap now.
>>28843123
Did faust even care about the elements or were they just a way to get the opening over and done with.
>>28842610
I was, but their searching for alternative means of wrapping up specials is getting worse and worse.
