How is it that the EQG universe has gotten to a point where it's actually more interesting than the main series in Equestria?
How is it that anyone actually thinks that the EQG universe has gotten to a point where it's actually more interesting than the main series in Equestria?

For me it's semblance of continuity and rules, something that could make the main series excellent but they infuriatingly ignore.
Shimmer > Glimmer
The main series hitched it's wagon to the wrong horse

Hasbro needs to bite the bullet and just let the writers have their way with eqg, since that is the only way I would even consider it anywhere near interesting as fim.

EqG isn't more interesting than the main series, but it has a fucking huge advantage for me. I couldn't care less for Random High School Girl #1 to #7, so even if they're completely retarded I can enjoy the rest of the generic plot. On the other hand, in season 6 the ponies were completely retarded in like half of the episodes, I care for them, so it was painful to watch and a fucking terrible season.
In short, if the writers are going to be incompetent hacks, I'd rather watch them assassinating characters I don't give a shit about.
