Said that it "complements" the chapter book program...whatever that means. There's a Trixie book releasing in early 2017 but this is the Spring/Summer 2017 catalog. The Trixie book was in the Fall/Winter 2016/2017 catalog.

Movie prequel, eh? One thing we know about the movie is that the Mane 6 encounter the main antagonist and travel outside of Equestria to get help from other kingdoms who have encountered the antagonists before. Maybe this book details exactly what went down at the time? It could also backstory on some of the movies new characters. Like who's Songbird Serenade? How does the SeaPony kingdom run? Interesting stuff like that.

The Mystery Series sounds cute for little kids, and the EG specials sound interesting as well. Looking forward to those and the Elements of Harmony Vol. 2. 2017 is looking to be a great year for pone.
