This sounds absolutely paranoid and utterly insane. I'd like to think that there's no way that any show would intentionally shit on its viewers like that.
But then again, after reading some of Jim's tweets, I have to admit that he doesn't look completely sane. And if someone like him has such an important position, he can't be the only one. So, it's not completely impossible for them to make an episode that would look innocent for the target audience but outrageous for those older audiences with a completely different emotional binding with the characters, who are also the more demanding critics.
