I'm pretty sure they did a bit, I remember the game changing here and there, but you can't expect people to work too hard for free on a tribue to a passion project that was originally somebody elses passion project to begin with that got shut down

I played around with the Fighter Maker engine during the time of the leak and the C&D. It's like programming in assembly. It's super tedious to do anything in it. Like, holy shit. I'd rather dump the sprites and rewrite the game from scratch.

I have like 6 different versions of this game. Everyone made a "tribute" edition
