I had a friend who didn't want to give the show a shot, but at the time he was bugging me about watching Attack on Titan so I made a deal with him where I'd watch a few episodes of Attack on Titan and he'd watch a few episodes of MLP.
He ended up liking it but unfortunately he was being a huge faggot about it and alienated one of our mutual friends.
