The mane 5 were pretty good in legend of everfree.

GoH doesn't really need to take place in an alternate universe and can fit in FiM's canon just fine. It would just touch stuff the show doesn't do, like graphic fighting and more mature plots.

GOH is supposed to be about action, but FIM tends to be about giving the mane six access to deus ex machina powers that don't require a "fight" to really win, like EOH rainbow lasers and what not.


If the mane six ever get access to Instant win powers in FIM, this fucks up your ability to have villains legitimately threaten them in GOH without being God tier beings who could no sell it, and that causes its own problems.

Its like how the S3 premier had a huge plothole of them not bringing the EOH with them.

If they give them EOH powers back at some point, which I feel is a given for S7 or the movie, it'll have issues since they'd concievably still have them.


Plus, the GOH series ALREADY has pre-existing problems in that Starlight is about 100 times more powerful of a character than anyone not named twilight, so any problem that surfaces could be handled by Twilight or Starlight without any help from the other five.
