Well, sadly the seasons lose interest. Never lost interest in our little equine friends. Though, I've given up on our mane cast. Sorry for my spaghetti but I'm actually genuinely upset about some things.

The story is so through and through random, it lost my interest and I have ADD. Why is Shimmer and Glimmer a thing again?
Discord has more episode appearance than celestia and luna from season 1-5 in just one season.
We have no balance, no good stories anymore. The 28 days later episode was pretty fun but only if you get the references.
Is there even a story line? Or time line?
And what the hell is going on in canterlot anyway?

You think we will get a next season?
Right now I only watch it for ideas to draw. I spend more time with watching background characters than the main cast.

I don't think it has made "everyone" rewatch the old seasons but, as a matter of fact, before this season I used to rewatch every new episode during the weekend, and now I'm using that time to rewatch old episodes instead of the latest episode, which usually doesn't deserve a rewatch. And the worst part is, I'm liking the old episodes way more than the recent ones.

Discord is more interesting than Princesses, but what is really stupid is that while he at least gets 1 or 2 episodes a season, he isnt as forced as Glimmer who gets like 3 or 4 and entire finale and opener. He was a harmless secondary character who doesnt get tiresome while Stalright came out of nowhere and writers expect as to love her after they make her shitload of episodes in one go.

I love LArson but I can't agree with him on this show ever being that original. I could always predict how the episodes were going to end. The appeal to me was always the journey rather than the destination.
Excellent execution between the characters, gags, and animation is what got me on the ride.

Plus even the worst episodes of MLP typically are better than most cartoons that have aired in the last 6 years.
