This reminds me of Hodor when Brann invaded his mind and used his body. Hodor was so damn traumatized afterwards because he felt so violated. Mind control is a horrible thing to do on another person. So why and how does the writers think it is totally okay? I dont get it.
Imagine someone just taking over your body very easily and doing what they want with it. Is this how they want people to view Starlight Glimmer? A mare who sees others as nothing else than tools for her magic and ideas?

I'm not exactly looking forward to this episode, but I don't think a "punishment" would make it any better. I don't even like Glimglam, but after MMDW and MMDW2 I'm so sick of "punishment" episodes. This show was supposed to be about solving problems with friendship, scheming and coming up with revenge plots is stupid and has nothing to do with friendship.
I'll be really disappointed if Starlight doesn't apologize sincerely and honestly to each and every one of their victims at the end of the episode, but I'd be even more disappointed if the ponies fight fire with fire again instead of trying to solve their fucking problems speaking.
