Happy birthday anon. I know that feeling i had no friends when i first moved to uni changed at the end of the semester though. Drank alone on my 19th birthday in a drive bar.

I had an assignment due and was pissing it down on my 21st birthday party so my friends had organized a get together at a local bar but when end up back in our flat and i drank a yardie of ice cold beer (Shits hard when ice cold). Had a few smokes and stuff aswell. Dont really remember much after that.

For my 22nd they threw me a huge house party at my friends place. Super Awesome night.

I have great friends.

US, college student. Trust me when I say I go out of my way, and I'm by no means socially awkward.

But my problem is I can never develop anything close with people. And if I do, they go missing. ~~Literally in one case, I was getting close with a girl I knew and she went missing shortly after, police had to get involved and everything~~. But maybe I can try inviting some people to go do something.
