Not true. It would be nice to be able to discuss the upcoming MLP RPG with /tg/, for example, or to move some of /mlp/'s quests to /qst/. /tg/ doesn't even get that triggered over ponies anymore, it's only GR15 that causes problems.

well then, there should be exceptions to the rule
if it's about the toys and other merchandise outside of the actual show (as in, no pics from the show, just toys) it could go to /toy/
if it pertains to the RPG then it can be discussed in /tg/
and limit it to one thread at a time
it's a matter of people sticking to it if that were to ever happen
