Hey guys remember back when plots where simple but the characters where so likable and expressive you managed to connect deeply to them and invest in their world and little simple lives?
You didn't need major events, you didn't need surprise family members or villains overstating their welcome.
A villain wasn't a monster, it was an old Friend, it was some random entertainer and even tho we didn't get much of them we loved them and where quick to fill the holes with countless fantasies.
Remember fantasies? Remember reading about the characters doing things that could never be shown in tv or background characters being actually fun and interesting and full of mistery instead of some avatar of myself shows up and fucks my waifu?.
