Let's just have a thread about how pony has affected us as people.

I don't wanna hear about characters and shit. Don't bitch about the show. Don't bitch about characters. I want to know how pony has had an effect on your life

>be me
>like pony
>not much it's ever done for me
>at least I always have porn to go back to

From something insignificant as having porn to meeting someone special that changed your life, ket us know how faggot horses have changed you.
>>
Well fuck.
>>

I spent my considerable life savings on an underground complex and black market nuclear waste and the purest horse semen in the hopes of creating the ultimate waifu.

>Grew up in a shitty home
>Discover pone at 17
>Use it to cope up to and after the point I moved out

Pone pretty much helped me manage my depression and develop my interest in producing music thanks to the really good fan music from people.
>>
Well, I'd no longer be alive without them, so I'd say that's a pretty big effect.
>>
>>28216771
>>28216773
that's what I wanna hear.
>pony came along and made me feel something akin to joy when nothing else did
>pony made me happy when nothing else could
>>
>>28216771
>17
>having to cope with anything

Try 29.

I thought I was a goner.
>>
>>28216723
>how pony has affected us
I shitpost on 4chan more than I ever have in the past since the coming of ponies.
>>
>>28216773
Unironically this. Not much else to say.
>>
>>28216882
17-year-olds don't have shit for coping skills or tools. they don't even know the full extent of freedom yet.
>>
>>28216723
Helped me build enough of a fanbase with my art to go freelance.
>>
>>28216955
American Dream right there.
>>
It made a giant swithc for me, it was basicly my first entrance to fan culture, it opened up a new world for me and i got my first online friends trough it. before ponies i only talked to my IRL friends and played normie games with them, and only watched movies, pretty much, didn't particurly care much for TV before ponies.

it was what pushed me to be more serious about animaiton and art enough to that i am studying it. so in a way it shaped a huge part of my upcoming part of life.
>>
>>28217024
This, except I don't have friends irl and I don't care about animation and such. Greentexts, though...Never thought I'd write something besides school esseys in my life...
>>
>>28216723
I've never wanted to fuck a real horse before this show. Now I'm curious to put my dick in real horse pussy.
>>
>>28216955
You got some shit to share with us anon?
>>
>>28216955
This. I'm good enough to work freelance now as well. I'd have never tried art seriously if it weren't for horse and I probably would have killed myself because I fucking hated my job.

I also gave friends a chance again, as a concept in general.
>>
>>28216723
It lead me down the slippery slope of developing some hardcore romantic feelings towards a live horse.
>>
>>28216723
It's taught me to respect women more.

>be me, 17 at the time
>been watching the show on and off since Season 1, but didn't actually get into it until 2014
>grandmother gets sudden rapid dementia
>lives alone and unable to take care of herself
>forced to drop out of school and move away to take care of her
>grew more and more depressed as the months pass
>watch her die in the hospital that December
>stayed at her house for a couple months after that
>lived in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do, still depressed and grieving
>got nothing better to do, so I rewatch the first MLP episode on Netflix and catch up on the series from there

It cheered me up a bit and helped me cope, although I can't say I'm 100% better

Such as losing your virginity for example.
>>
>>28218654
Shouldn't you be back in school by now?
>>
>>28218681
Shouldn't you go back to eating shit?
>>
>>28218681
I'd say the same to you but I already know you are probably a drop out anyway.
>>
>>28218681
The neet telling an anon to go back to school. Wow that's rich.
>>
>>28216723
It made me hate race mixing and understand the values of preserving our own bloodlines.

>What is bait
>>
>>28216723
>affect vs effect
it's affect.

How mlp affected me is that it made me a bit happier and I needed something cheerful amidst all the misery I was dealing with.

Last May, I lost a dear friend due to a head on collision with a box truck. I was in denial for three months till I woke up screaming. MLP has brought a bit of happiness back and even though it still stings, it has made it a bit better.

Stop. You've already proven your incompetence. Let's end this discussion here.

>inb4 "I totally have a job and a girlfriend unlike you"
>>
>>28218866
The guy critiquing another about irony and bait fell for bait. Congrats you've reached a new level of sad.
>>
>>28218914
Ayy.
>>
The fanfiction really settles nicely into my niche preference for romance and kids shows. I'm able to focus more on adult things during the day since I know I'll always have some nice fanfiction to balance it out with.
>>
>>28218750
"had an effect" is correct though famalam. google it.

Well it prevented me from becoming a weeaboo so that's a tremendous positive on my life I think.

I actually became less autistic in that I finally manage to talk to people and stopped hating the world. Also made some good friends and a potential SO.
>>
>>28221187
less autistic because you went to fandom-related stuff, right?

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
