The episode was sub-par even for an episode with starlight in it. Even ended on everyone just saying yeah fuck it lets be friends with the enemy even if they kidnapped your wife and mind fucked you because spike said this guy was okay. Just waiting till it turns out he was a spy all along but changed his mind because friendship.

The song was good, probably the best in season 6, but it had no build up at all to the situation. Spike just walked into the room and just started singing. Would've been nice if we got a debate between Spike and everyone else.

Instead we needed to spend time having Thorax in a disguise and eventually getting caught, like in every single episode that has one of these plots.

The snowflakes line was the only thing I can think of that I really didn't like, but that's probably just because I browse filipino finger-painting forums too much. Objectively speaking I can't really come up with a reason I didn't like it other than Spike singing.

This episode was like a 6/10.

Everything was alright till the shinning armor part where shinning actually showed some character for once about how he really felt about changelings.

Episode would have sold it better if they still showed distrust for the changeling. Could have flushed more out of shinning and candy ass but instead they took the cliche safe route of "everyone liking thorax at the end."
