The best episodes this season have been Spike's and Starlight's episodes.
How does this make you feel?

Great
My erection won't go down
>>28207342

>>28207342
>best episode not SRR
pleb taste desu senpai
>>28207507
SRR was an exception to this trend. It was fantastic indeed.

You sure are in this thread.
Rarity's still been better than ether, even in the weaker episodes she's been in she's been getting some really fun moments and scenes.
>Waifu has best episodes of the season
Not too bad actually
>>28207593
What about in spice up your life when her character did a complete 180?
>>28207342
>starlight
>great episodes
Man, this glimmer spam is STILL going on?
>>28207342
I'm okay with this. I like the two of them and they interact well with each other.
>>28207727
The ending whhere she wrecks Zesty is pretty glorious.
>>28207746
>No Second Prances
>Not great
T. Dashfag
>>28207982
>glim episodes
>good
t. mary sue
>>28208003
>literally not knowing what a Mary Sue is
I really shouldn't be surprised by this anymore
>>28208077
>I was evil due to my terrible past but I'm good now I swear
>I'm also one of the best users of magic with little to no reason
Glimmerfags everyone
>>28208276
>whaaaa there's no context or buildup for things because I don't want there to be
Does the christmas episode count as a starlight episode?
>>28208276
>I'm also one of the best users of magic with little to no reason
Twilight fits this exact same description
>>28208410
Not an argument
>>28208430
Except she doesn't since she was a student of celeatia. DYEWTS you waifufag
>>28207342
>Nu Glim
Not even once
>>28208430
But Twilight stopped being good at magic when she became an alicorn...I don't get it either
>>28208451
It's as much as an argument as you had tard
>>28207507
>SRR
>good
Spikes episode was shit tho
>>28207342
>Starlight
[citation needed]
>Spike
I'm happy for him, he deserved it. But I'd be much happier if Dashie wasn't now the new Spike who gets all the shitty episodes. That's completely unnecessary and I hope Josh Haber to be hit by a bus.
>>28208758
>shit tastes
>>28207342
opinions don't elicit feeling from me. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, so here's a complimentary (You).
>>28208788
Dash has always gotten tons of shitty episodes. Nothing about that has changed.
Really the standard season for Rainbow is as such, she gets 1 great episode (which I think she got in Stranger than Fanfiction), and then 2 or 3 meh to shit ones. Almost without fail. Expect Season 5 I guess, most of her episodes there were pretty solid, but then she was more frequently being paired up with other characters in S5 and honestly Tanks for the Memories was the only REAL RD episode, she was very much the secondary part of the pair in Griffonstone and Investigates.
>>28207342
I disagree, but I'm glad Spikefags are finally happy, even if I don't see his roles in this season as any better than his roles in the early seasons.
I've found Flutter Brutter and On Your Marks especially enjoyable, myself.
>>28211501
Flutter Brutter is the best Fluttershy episode in years and the people who hate it over a character who isn't meant to be likable being unlikable are idiots. It's pretty much the episode Fluttershy's needed for years to get her out of the rut she's been in since the end of S2 or so.
But I personally found On Your Marks really quite boring like most AB episodes.
>>28212920
I'll admit it. I kinda hate Flutter Brutter because it destroys my autistic headcanon. I've always imagined Equestria as a magical fantasy land where everyone has a place and no one is left behind, and the existence of neet ponies kinda destroys that for me and honestly, I haven't felt the same way about the show since that episode.
Aside from that though, it was 11/10
>>28212920
I normally find her to be likable and her feeling and worries relatable and interesting, in these past few seasons, making for comfortable and enjoyable episodes. She's always learning something new and growing, and it's nice to see, to me. Never had to learn the same thing twice.
Maybe the difference between me and mostly everyone else is that I especially like slice of life or am watching this for a different reason than them, being more interested in friendship and feelings than lore and adventure. Maybe they just have some crazy belief that AB's just a dumb kid and shouldn't be taken seriously. I don't know.
Anyway, I'd say season 5 was to AB as everyone's saying season 6 is to Spike. She was characterized excellently throughout and treated like an important character, with frequent appearances that weren't wasted. While I am happy for Spikefags that everyone's giving their favorite character a chance and saying he's great, it annoys me that even though AB had a nearly flawless episode like Bloom and Gloom last season, hardly anybody saw it as anything but "another AB episode". I don't expect anyone to change their opinions on her at this point unless she has an uncharacteristic action episode that ignores the feelings that make her episodes interesting and likable to me.
>>28207342
Pretty content. I've always liked Spike and I love Glimmer after shes reformed.
That moment during his song where he called her out for being a hypocrite was amazing. She has no right to judge the changeling
>>28207342
>saddlerow review isn't the best episode
Please Have Sex
>>28213414
>When bae reks you
>>28213414
You ever notice how at the start of the season, it seemed like they were being paired together, now whenever they're together Spike always ends up talking shit to her?
Thanks Jim...
>>28208464
>Celestia couldn't stop Chrysalis
>Luna needed help to defeat a nightmare entity she created
>Cadance can't really do fuck-all unless she also has access to her husband's "horn"
>Twilight, supposedly previously the most magically gifted unicorn in >THE CURRENT YEAR, suddenly Worfed by another unicorn whom presumably didn't have any of the same formal training from a literal/figurative sun goddess and an aforementioned alicorn
>>28208410
>>whaaaa there's no context or buildup for things because I don't want there to be
Are you able to provide the context or buildup for Starlight? Because "M-muh boyfriend" doesn't really excuse fucking up the timelines and creating a cult that destroyed lives.
>>28213455
So the reality is...becoming an alicorn is more of a downgrade instead of an upgrade for unicorns?!
It all adds up! We need to tell everyone! The truth must be heard!
>>28213455
And Twilight also got stumped by Sunset shortly after becoming an alicorn
Hmmmm.....
>>28213480
Dear god. Now listen to this.
People commonly complain about MMC, saying that Twilight was rewarded with alicornification after all she did was fuck up a spell and clean up a mess she created. But what if becoming alicorn was not a reward, but instead a punishment for ruining the lives of her friends?
>>28213455
Unicorn
>magic, int, spirit stats
Earth Pony
>HP, stam, atk, def stat
Pegasus
>Agl,speed, dex stat
Alicorn
>balanced stat but a lot of MP or just fuck my stat up
Being an alicorn is actually a nerf
>>28213500
Celestia, Luna, and Cadance were also turned into alicorns and they completely suck at Magic.
But Flurry was born and alicorn and completely blew the four of them out of the water (you can argue that it was the magic spurge that babies get)
Why is all of this so?
>>28213533
Starlight is a sorcerer. She casts with charisma, which she has in spades.
>>28213673
Until she doesn't get her way and blows her stack
>>28213683
Which doesn't take much.
>>28213687
She's pushing it all down now to not get in trouble, but one day she'll go off again. It happened to Sunset, and it's gonna happen to her too.
