I basically dropped out of the fandom and /mlp/ after season 4. I couldn't stand Twilicorn and it really ruined the show for me. But a week or two ago I recently got back into the show and caught up after watching my seven year old nephew watch the show a few times. The years have seemed to lessen my disdain for Twilicorn but I still don't much care for her. I did end up really enjoying season 5 but so far haven't really enjoyed season 6 except for maybe 1 or 2 episodes. The only one I can think of off the top of my head was episode 3, The Gift of the Maud Pie; the one about Maud and Pinkie exchanging gifts. Though there have been some great individual moments, the episodes in their entirety just haven't been that enjoyable. The latest season isn't nearly as funny or well written to me as seasons 1, 2, 3(excluding s3e13), and 5, I can't really remember 4 all to well. Probably was good but I didn't/couldn't enjoy it due to my hate of Twilicorn; might try and give it a rewatch. Life has been rough for me as of late which may be affecting my enjoyment of the current season but I don't think that is it.

As for /mlp/; I always use to enjoy coming here to discuss, bullshit, laugh, and relate with people but a lot more of it is filled with just bitching and negativity. I know that is normal but it seems more prevalent then it used to be and there seems to be a lot less fun and discussion going on around here. It seems the only place people are discussing things are within the little sub-communities inside the generals. But even then, there is a lot less screwing around with each other and talking then there was before. And I know the Scruffening changed a lot of things(I was there) but even then the board was still enjoyable 1-2 years after. Things have definitely changed in the two years I've been gone and it doesn't seem for the better. I'll have to wait until I've been back longer before I can come to a conclusion.

Anyways, those are just my opinion's on the matter.
