Writers screwed up and it ended up being completely OOC, and frankly, insufferable. The episode is not representative of Dash's character at all. The Season 1 pranking episode was okay and much more fitting, because the pranks were much more light-hearted, but the ones in this were edgy and unfunny.

Now we wait until the next episode where the writers monumentally screw up characterization, because you know it will happen. The only question is who? Shitposters beware, it could be your favorite pony next. :^)
