I actually like that the franchise is no longer the "in thing" anymore.
Back then we had hipsters, nu-males, and SJWs trying to force their awful meme of the show being some sort of soapbox for whatever narrative they wanted to push that week.
I never consider those types of people (aka bandwagoners) fans begin with. They never enjoyed it for what it really was, a comfy show filled with cute horses doing cute things and giving a simple moral while they're at it.

Now the rides quite relaxing. Any drama surfacing from the fandom these days is forced drama due to people being bored and can easily be ignored or humored depending on ones mood.
