There are over 30 hours of FiM to 6 hours of EQG. And notice that when EQG gets a new movie they toss it out in theatrical distribution at like 5 theaters nationwide, do minimal marketing, and then yank the plug a week or two in to shop it to families like the second-rate trash that it is, while the FiM movie is being hyped by Hasbro's marketing and executives as the second coming of Christ, features several accomplished guest actors, and will likely see a wide theatrical release and be in theaters for months. If the EQG series is even remotely good, why does Hasbro put in only minimal effort when making them?
