Idea pitch for the characters:

Greez and Flash are long time friends and Flash is the only pony who has stuck with him through think and thin. He can be really protective of her and almost treats her as a sister. Also, his mane wasn't always black, he just dyed it to be cool. His real name isn't Greez Lightning either.
