Do you think that the Movie might get into a darker territory and that it might get a PG rating in the end?
>>27129744
That tends to happen with movie adaptions. They might even have a character die, optimus prime died.
>>27129744Celestia dies.
>>27129744
It will also be pretty racist with explosions everywhere.
>>27129753
No, Twilight Sparkle will die or Discord in the movie.

Are you deluded? It's My Little Pony. There is no way it will be anything except Suitable for All Ages.

this was hasbro's master plan all along wasn't it...

Five years ago? Yeah, maybe.
Today? Not a snowball's chance in hell.
How would you feel if they shoved the word shit in the movie?
>>27129936
/co/ doesn't care about MLP and hasn't cared about MLP in a long time. Zootopia is what's big on /co/ right now.
>>27129744
Some characters may get killed off. But they may not go that far if they can introduce a new set of characters and can still market them alongside the older characters.

/co/ isn't as flabbergasted about ponies. They understand the industry more than /tv/.
You think they'll have dragons and ponies teaming up to beat the villains in the movie? Ember or Twilight giving some braveheart-ish or indepdence day-ish speech before charging into battle?

>this was hasbro's master plan all along wasn't it...
To crash this ride with no survivors? Probably
>>27130225
/tv/ doesn't even pretend they know the industry or even like TV/Film, all they care about is memes and shitposting and trolling.
>>27129819
This. Even with Pixar/Disney's recent PG animations, they wouldn't raise the bar for anything. At best a comparison of getting an ESRB rating of E10+ for cartoon violence or mild themes is the best an MLP movie can do. It would either be better-done than fucking Equestria Squirrels most likely.

Such a shame too. They make /v/ seem on topic for most of the time too.
