Fucking reading comprehension. The synopsis doesn't say he becomes THE "Dragonlord" as in the ruler of all dragons, it says he must become A (as in one of many) "Dragon Lord". Note the space.

Look, they've done four episodes of 5 to 7 out of 10 slice of life episodes. All they need to do is another OK episode where Spike doesn't suddenly go OOC to become a useless, cringey, annoying cunt and the fandom will be pleased.
