Now watch, button mash will end up grtting his own episode just so Hasbro can say that they own him.

Just watch.

Merriwether Williams once made Rarilane a thing.
She could make Rumble x Sweetie a thing too.
>>27034415
But they do own him.
>>27034443
In your wet autistic dreams. Just because they're popular doesn't mean it becomes canon.
>>27034776
Much better than Jan, 2bh f4m
>>27034415
>Hasbro can say that they own him.
They already own him, you dummy.
>>27034939
I mean, they could make a small remake to this scene where Thunderlane saves Rarity, but this time it's Rumble who saves Sweetie Belle who hugs him... though I would prefer kiss, lol.
Oh for fuck's sake, Jan didn't create Button Mash.
You can see him for the first time in that Hearth's Warming Eve episode, I think.
Stupid day bump

He's first seen in the Hearts and Hooves episode for like 2 seconds playing a game, when Sweetie Belle sings "this's one's too young".
So yes, he is Hasbro property. Jan basically stole him. "Button Mash" - which is not his canon name - is NOT Jan's OC.
I have no idea how many times I've had to type out this shit or why I even still care.
>>27037094
>use a character for a solid two seconds
>they totally abandon the character
>Jan runs with it for a while
>Hasbro drops the hammer
>Button Mash magically appears after years of being absent
>>27034415
I'm confused they do own him don't they
>>27037150
The problem lies within a huge amount of people, who were sure that the pony in question is Jan's original character.
Jan seriously got a ton of questions a la "did you work on that episode?" whenever Button Mash appeared on the screen in the actual show. I am pretty sure, Hasbro couldn't ignore that.
