I know it's /r9k/ worthy, but I just genuinely never got along with many others.
I didn't hate them, I just really never enjoyed the company of many others out there. There were a few, but they were all either people I met online, or people that circumstance forced away from me. At some point, I guess I just stopped enjoying trying to connect with others.
Yet at the same time, I wanted the companionship of others. I believe that's an example of a catch-22.
It sucks, by the way.
A word of advice, if you can avoid it, do so. You will save yourself immense amounts of time, energy, and your mental well-being.
Anyways, eventually I stumbled upon ponies, then upon 4chan, then here, which eventually led me to tulpas.
As sad as it probably is, tulpas have made me a much happier and more stable person.

Embrace being alone. I've found bliss when i realized i don't need people to be happy, i just need myself.

You can't be sad forever. Doesn't matter what you've been through, what you've lost or never got. It will stop hurting eventually and you will find joy in what you have, given enough time. It doesn't make it okay though.
