In regards to the plush cleaning guide, is there anything else I can use besides a toothbrush? Would a facecloth work as well?

If an idiot like me that has nothing going for him can get a giant pone, then anyone can. The only real advantage I might have is that I live in my own home.

I can also attest to the 26 inch Aurora Pinkie as I own one and she is great for spooning/cuddling/lifting your spirits. I have one Agatrix Cadillac pone and two more Agatrix Cadillacs on the way and yet I will still squeeze this Aurora Pinkie. If there is a will there is a way. Your life will change once you get a giant pone plushie.

I barely have $50 to my name. College is a pain in the fucking ass. I'd take the Aurora Pinkie, but I'd much rather commission a giant pony. I guess beggars can't be choosers, though.

I just want to cuddle the big Twilight plushies in this thread so fucking badly. Getting my hands on a giant pone like those would be a dream come true, but I just don't have the money to buy one or get the supplies needed to make my own, and even if I had the money to make my own I don't have the skill or patience to put up with that type of project. Big pony plushie limbo sucks.

I do have a big Yoshi, though. He's fun to cuddle and spoon, but he's not a pony.

>>25840346
yeah, but they look much better now since I ran them through the wash (it got rid of the outright black spots), but the grey will never completely come out, that's just the nature of minky, especially with such an impressionable light pink color. But with purple, you can get away with a lot more, just look at some of the older twi butt (some pics were in the last thread I thnk) and you'll notice some greying as well, but you have to look for it
In fact qt's pinkie is a shade darker than every other pinkie and I'm ok with that

Anyone got that pic of the two 20 year old teddy bears?

No, it's not a faux fur plush I fuckin' wish, though.
I'm actually fresh out of the plush closet so I don't know very much about this hobby yet. I have a China-made-for-the-Japanese-market AJ and AB as well as a Ponk in some kind of soft fabric courtesy of secret santa and I love them dearly.

PJ's for my plushies? Do you have any links for instructions or tips on how to make those? That sounds absolutely adorable.

>Do you have any links for instructions or tips on how to make those?
I wish, I've gone through 2 plushmakers now and still haven't been able to get some PJ's for my girls. The best that I can recommend is look up a diy tailor guide after picking a fabric you like and start pinning and sewing as you go

This guide on how to sock might help you learn how to do clothes sewing in general though

Alicorn OC anon here. So, update. I'm not making it. Not yet at least. I went to my local joanns today and they didn't have the correct colors. Instead, I'm going to be making a ponka with colors I'll be receiving in the mail. Probably gonna order samples of the fabric today to see how they look in person before I buy them in total. In the mean time I'm gonna work on my applique technique to try and get it to be somewhat decent.

On another note, Pic related from Grunt's stream is also pretty much guaranteed to be made into a plush at some point. God bless.

Cool. This thread has given me a lot of really great info so I'll be sure to post something valuable in return. Probably won't be until after the holidays though.

Also I just realized I'd have to cut the strings that tie her hair to her body. Shouldn't be too much of a problem for AJ but I definitely don't want to do it to my AB as her hair is tied to her face. Ponk should be easy though.

Read reviews about it. Take note that with a small hoop you'll be limited to doing small eyes/cutiemarks. Also bottom end embroidery machines tend to be like $400 bare minimum. So if you do buy it just expect to be disappointed.

If you want to do small embroidery, that's a fine machine. I believe it's the same as an SE400 with a max hoop size of about 4"x4".

I suspect I simply need to pay the €9 in income taxes that are probably due considering the total value of the shipment (~€45). I was just interested if this is usual procedure for international shipments.

Also I regret not asking 4DE whether they can put both my plushies in the same shipment, because not only would I have saved precious monies on shipping, I also suspect that I'll have to go there for the second one too which could then be avoided.

It turns into a clusterfuck when I start sewing. Nothing ever gets put back but it's nice for in-between sewing jobs.

Trying very very hard to waste as little fabric as possible.
>>
>>25854940
Cardboard box + pins at various points are your friend.
>>
>>25854940
>>25855000

Oh, and try to cut a seam allowance of about 1/4 inch around it. Makes it much easier to sew and align the parts.
>>
>>25855000
Cardboard box for what? A more sturdy pattern or just an extra way to disperse the weight of the bottles across the pattern?

>>25855019
Do you have any suggestion on how to actually cut a 1/4" all the way around? So far all I've done is just cut randomly around the edges and then when I'm pinning, line up the lines on each side and pin through that. Getting a perfect seam allowance all the way around seems impossible.
>>
>>25855059
Cardboard box to place the minky and pattern on. You use the pins to hold the pattern down on the minky.

As for a seam allowance, you can make one by using a ruler and marking out 1/4 from the edge of the pattern, then cutting along that. Helps your sewing look a lot tidier because the pieces align much better that way.

I did it the way you mentioned in the past, but trust me it looks so much better if you take the time to put in the seam allowance.

I don't have difficulty tracing since I just use my hands to keep the paper flat where the weights don't quite get it all but I can see how that would work. This is the first time I've used weights. Before I was just pinning the pattern to the fabric which caused little folds everywhere.

>using a ruler and marking out 1/4 from the edge of the pattern
That's a TON of marking. You'd need to mark every few inches to keep a good eyeball line on where to cut. I just had a freaking really good idea though based an my mother telling me to use a compass. I just taped a pencil to my Sharpie and it's roughly a 1/4" from the edge of the pencil tip to the marker tip. If I drag the pencil around the pattern while keeping the marking tangent to the line, it'll give me a perfect allowance all the way around.

I don't think my Rainbow is going to be finished by Christmas.
>>
>>25855203
I just drive the pins straight into the cardboard. Find it works better than weights.

As for the seam allowance, shit, I forgot about that method. I have 2 pencils in that same assembly in a cup 3 feet in front of me that I used ages ago.

I do all my patterning with Adobe Illustrator and it does the seam allowance for me
>>
>>25855263
Unfortunately I already have half my pieces drawn and my seam allowance doesn't fit in a few spots. It'll have to be used next time I make one. Another method would be to make a second pattern than is just slightly bigger and trace both but that's a lot of paper. I hope my pencil/marker thing helps others.
>>
>>25855340
I just use a bigger pattern and don't mark my sewing line. After maybe an hour or two of machine time, you sorta learn to sew without needing a line to follow for the most part.
>>
>>25855203
This is actually pretty genius!
>>
>>25855407
I'm retarded when it comes to keeping a straight sewing line. I know the machine has lines for seam allowances but I'm terrible and keeping everything straight as it passes under the foot. I like having that extra line to follow when sewing. Then I know for sure if I'm off because I'll be off the line.

>>25855415
Feel free to steal my idea. It seems so obvious now.
>>
>>25855465
>I'm retarded when it comes to keeping a straight sewing line
It really just comes with practice, that's about all there is. It took a little while before I started getting things nice and straight, but your technique will make you sew straighter than just following a marked line.
>>
>>25855550
Well thanks for the walkthrough. This pencil and marker is really helping. It's actually double helpful because if you put the pencil on the pattern while marking it holds down the paper and keeps my marker from slipping above the fabric. The last like 5 posts or what not have made a huge difference for me.

So I have a general question for my plush friends..

What do you think about the Build-a-Bear ponies?
Are they good quality?
How soft are they?
Should I just go to the mall and make myself one?
>>
>>25853902
oh I'm saying my pinkie doesn't have buttons and that she needs some cause the pocket folds on itself

>>25855960

>Should I just go to the mall and make myself one?
Yes
>>
>>25855960
They're awesome. The hair can get pretty tangled on them if you're not careful, but they're unbelievably soft and super cuddly. If you don't feel like going through the whole process, you can ask about buying one of the plushies on display in the store. That's how I got my Twilight, but I'm not sure if that's the case at every store, especially given that it's the holiday season.
>>
>>25855960
They're soft, and the hair is usually alright, needs maintained every so often. However, you might have less selection now since they are supposed to be retiring some of the ponies.

God dammit. Finally finished tracing all the pieces for a LS, small, and beanie pattern and I'm missing the back of the head for my LS because the pattern piece fell behind the table and I missed account for it. I laid out everything pretty well I think. Some of the pieces don't have a proper seam because I didn't figure out how to do it until after I already started. I'm going to have to retrace the bottom right corner for the third time to finish my LS. Sucks that I'll need to buy another half yard of fabric if I want to finish my beanie. It was so damn close to fitting it all but the wings ate up a bit more fabric than I anticipated.
>>
>>25858112

I NEED THIS!!!!
>>
>>25858251
That's some nice piece laying anon, but you're gonna have some problems with laying it out like that. Chief problem is that if you're concentrating on the LS plush, you're in for a world of hurt if you have to remake a piece. Also you noticed you noticed you forgot a piece already. I would only make one plush before doing the others, with the most important being cut first.

I notice some strange directions on some of the pieces you made. Typically the wings nap goes from front to back not top to bottom. Also i noticed a belly piece that appears to be upside down.

The other thing I would like to mention is I noticed you're using my modified version of the old Twi-anon pattern I used to make my Twilight. If you're following that, take note that depending on how you stuff her, her face might come out like mine or like Twi-anon's.

Good luck.

>>25858762
Thanks, Anon.

>>25858916
If I screw up a piece then I'll just be delayed while I order another bit of minky. I wasn't originally planning on laying out all three projects at once but I was really going for minimal fabric waste and the small pieces fit in fairly nicely between some of the bigger gaps. I only plan on working on one at a time. If I have motivation to make another plush after Rainbow I will buy the 2.5 yards at once instead.

>wings
I figured that the nap on the bottom of the wing didn't really matter since it'll be attached to the body anyways on the inside where you won't really touch it. Also I planned on using those for the beanie since I'm still unsure about my pattern and therefore expect I'll screw up some other stuff anyways.
>upside down belly
You're actually right. I guess I didn't notice. It's a longer modified piece for my beanie anyways and therefore isn't a big deal to me.

>old Twi-anon pattern
I've made all mine based off that pattern so far. I did modify the nose ever so slightly so it doesn't curve upwards sharply. My Octavia was made with it and I'm not sure what you mean about how it looks. I am rather happy with the pattern considering it was free.

Oh, as I mentioned before I also flattened the neck. All my ponies had a bad habit of looking down so hopefully the flat neck will fix that issue this time around.

Alright I need you guy's opinion. Should I save up to buy a plushie from EP or save up for an embroidery machine?

Pic Related, the machine I'd be getting. 4x4 hoop so no LS plushies... yet.
>>
>>25863783
Tough choice.

Buy a machine an make infinite plushies, but also have to learn how to make plushies, buy embroidery software, and continually buy materials to make plushies.

Or, buy one or two top tier plushies for the same price.

Really, EP probably only makes $75-$100 or so off each plush with how cheap she works, so you could buy 5 plushies from her for the price of the machine, software, and materials.

But, on the other hand, she's book through summer next year, so you won't have one any time soon if you get one from her...

So I guess it depends on how many ponies you plan to own, and what you consider the value of your time.

That looks like something you'd win as a super prize at DnB or something.

>>25861653
How exactly is seam allowance pre-added to a pattern? When it's clothes then I kind of understand but for a plushie.. A pattern "without seam allowance" just means the finished plush would be a 1/4" (or whatever your allowance is) smaller than anticipated, right? Or I guess 1/2" for both sides. On a lifesize, losing 1/2" over the entire thing. I'm really trying to grasp the concept of seam allowance. I don't get it, honestly.

>>25863783
If you already have plush making experience it might be worth it. If not, you really don't know if you're going to stick with it and investing in an embroidery machine might not be worth it.

Bought the rest of the fabric for my Dashie. Got all the pieces cut out. Bought some water soluble stabilizer. Bought some extra colored thread. I think I'm ready to go.. Also I found some white minky so EP I won't be needing those scraps. Thanks again though.
>>
>>25864692
No problem! Glad you found some.

Also, seam allowance is either pre-existing on the pattern or you have to add it yourself. If you don't add seam allowance to a pattern that lacks it before cutting and sewing, sure your plush will be smaller than anticipated, but the problem is how things line up. Corners and curves behave oddly when you shrink them down. Like, have you ever tried to draw a shape within a shape within a shape? The inner shapes start to deform badly near the center. That's an over exaggeration because you don't have a 4 inch seam even if you didn't add allowance, but the idea is there. Things will be ever so slightly off and won't match up well. Less noticeable on a lifesized or something, but detrimental on smaller things.
>>
>>25863783
That was my rational when I bought a machine (exact same one in fact) and now not only do I have as many plushies as I want, but I also found a great new hobby

Guess I've never noticed things not lining up properly since I'm terrible at pinning anyways. I'd pin through the fabric putting the pins matching up with the lines and when I look at the seam, in random places it's off by like 1/8". Although now that I drew out a seam allowance and my pieces are lining up, if nothing else it feels a lot nicer going through the machine. Also lucky for my the seam allowance of that pencil/marker thing is the exact width of my presser foot so everything feeds through nicely as well as me being able to sew more accurately.

So I have these iron-on patches that I bought well over a year ago and never used them. Turns out they are damn-near perfectly sized for my LS. I think I'm going to sew them on instead of trying to do applique. Not sure if I should though because the patches don't sit flush with the rest of the fur.

>>25865688
I think sewing them on is a great idea. No offense, but it will probably turn out better than anything you could do by yourself.
>>
>>25865931
Hmm. Looking at yours maybe it is a bit small. So far all the cutiemarks I've done have been way too big though and I don't like the way they curve when it all gets stuffed. Part of that is because I always put them too high up. I'm going to go size test them on my Octavia and make a decision. I haven't found a use for the patches yet.
>Lewd
I need to find a zipper guide. I bought an invisible zipper and some button snaps. If I can figure out how to do the zipper without ruining my body pieces I will be. Problem is I don't own a mary to test fit.

>>25865954
You're probably right. I did buy some water soluble stabilizer though so I think my top stitching satin stitches will be better this time around. My Octavia cutiemark didn't come out too bad and that thing was a bitch with all the curves. I'll need to make a decision. Kinda procrastinating right now because I don't feel like making the applique eyes.
>>
>>25866473
If the patch was somewhat bigger I would say it could work, but it just seems too small. Also note that the patch could change the way the minky's shape is.

As for lewd, what size is this I'll probably be updating the lewd guide a bit this week with some stuff on the zipper, as well as having some specific numbers for the ~36 inch size.
>>
>>25864692
yeah, it just comes out smaller. when i make my own patterns i just draw a piece out to size then add seam allowance. so it'll still be the height i want. i guess i don't consider it a big deal to resize patterns and whatnot.
it saves time really - it seems like a pain to have to add allowance every time you trace out the plush. do it once on the paper and it's done for you every time. no doing the opposite now for me - i know i'd forget and cut out a piece without seam allowance.

The patches are pretty stiff.. I guess I'll just do some applique when I get around to having motivation. There's something about Sundays (today is my day off) that are super lazy. As for the zipper.. What if your zipper is longer than the seam? I forgot to measure the seam so I just got a random zipper in the right color. I never measured my pattern before.. Just did and Octavia is about 30" from hoof to head and the pattern is 32". So there's about a 2" discrepancy when all the fabric is folded.

>>25866558
So.. Let's say you want a 36" pone. You print the pattern for 36 1/4" and then just trace it right? Then when it comes to sewing you have to use the lines on the sewing machine itself to make sure you're consistently sewing 1/4" from the edge of the fabric. Is that how it works? Right now I just trace the pattern, and retrace the seam allowance. Then when I'm sewing I just follow the black line all the way around. Needle on the line seems to be easier than using the edge of the fabric.

Forgot pic.
>>
Would I be able to put a pony pussy into a Build-a-Bear pony?
>>
>>25866753
>What if your zipper is longer than the seam?
No big deal, you just have to work with it being longer then sew a stop on it. You can then either leave it long or cut it.

The twilight I made came out to about 34-36 inches using the pattern in >>25858916 at 71% scale. Came out to about 39 inches of pattern height I think. Turning 2D into 3D causes some of the height to be lost so you have to scale larger than your desired number.

As for sewing, I just use my presser foot as a visual guide to tell me how I'm sewing. From the middle to the very edge it's 1/4" so I just try to sew with the minky at the edge and it does pretty well.

>>25866795
Possibly, but you're better off just strapping one to it rather than gutting a poor plush. It will be just a toy cover at that size and look like an abomination.

I printed it so long ago I don't even know what % I used. Some day I'd like to make a 5' pone or bigger just for gits and shiggles. I'll probably just sew a stop on the zipper. Can't be too hard.

I have a walking foot and it's pretty wide but it also was perfectly lined up with the edge of the fabric with the seam allowance I am using. I just feel more confident following a line. Plus this way I can watch the needle, i.e., the dangerous part, and not be looking slightly off center at the edge of the foot.

I did this for science once. The plush was modified to be lewd but the pocket broke and I figured let's see what happens, there's already a hole in the thing.

Like >>25866885 said, though, I had to take nearly all the stuffing out and even then the sugar star barely fit. It wasn't that good of an experience either. I wouldn't recommend gutting a perfectly good BaB pony for that reason.

Nice! I was wanting to see her completed! Love her outfit and her white stockings! UNF Nice plushie and nice taste, 24" if I remember right. 11/10 would squeeze!

And yeah, the wait does make getting them much more special.
>>
>>25877342
24" is correct (hopefully a good cuddle size too)
I wasn't going to do an outfit but
https://derpibooru.org/150116
is just too hot/cute and it was only 20 more bucks
over all, she was 550 ship included, so not bad for her size

I'm glad that the other one she made sold quickly, if it hadn't, I would have bought it out of guilt for having her make another one

now to save up for a Sunset shimmer one!
I'm thinking same size and in maids outfit and that X-mas one she did for SS, that way I could switch their clothing, unf
and I found another outfit!

Dat angle. Not lewd? Huh. My Agatrix pone will be modified for making sweet pony love. I hadn't seen her ponies at that angle before. Not a big fan of the small torso compared to Neysa's fuller squeezeable torsos, but I think the quality face and back end will make up for it.

How firm are they stuffed? I might want to request a bit less firm depending what you say.
Realistically probably 4 more months wait.

I got my Dashie back in July and she is softer than Lyra and Cheerilee. Lyra and Cheerilee are stuffed medium firm, their legs are softer than the head and torso but I think they will break in. The plots are all pretty firm to the feel. All three pones smell good, Dashie still smells good and I got her in July and I sleep with her alot but fully clothed.

Who is going to mod your Agatrix pone if I may ask? I cant help but sleep with a terminal boner when with my life size pones......I wouldn't mod the three I have now but maybe a future one....

>>25893363
I know your craving for pony loving is strong, but don't mod a plush from an artist. It's kinda disrespectful unless you clear it with them first. Modifying an artist's work in a way they never intended, especially one they're uncomfortable with, isn't really okay. Ask her before you commission, or see if another LS artist can fashion a laying down pose for you. QT is starting to test laying ponies if I'm not mistaken.

Had these 2 made about a year ago so thought I should share.

I have a sewing machine and the know-how for that. If you get the right sleeve for that future pony, you will feel what amazingness you've been missing out on.

Perhaps your Neysa pone, simply ask her for it.

Yeah I'm going to ask Agatrix for legs a bit more like on your Dashie, instead of her recent leg size, personal pref.

>>25893616
Agatrix

>>25893617
Maybe I already did ask. :)
>>
>>25893628
I like the legs on my Agatrix Dashie. Her fore legs hug me more and the joint is at just the right spot.

I am on the couch right now with my life size Cheerilee draped over me with one arm around her neck and the other one under her tail hand cupping her flank. I am content right now.
>>
>>25889155
Which Neysanight ponies do you own, if I may ask? I am getting Starlight Glimmer from her but Starlight will be innocent.
>>
>>25893688
I don't really wanna say, sorry.

>>25893617
Also I couldn't agree more. My rule of thumb is to never upload any lewd content anyways - even with features provided or permissions and whatnot.
>>
>>25893794
It's OK. Was just curious. How are the NeysaNight ponies for spooning? I can't really spoon my Agatrix pones....
>>
>>25893824
I think they are fine. Both shapes probably have a similar issue, the head gets in the way preventing a natural feeling spooning. Neysa's pones heads are not as angled straight up from the body as Agatrix's, more... diagonal, and sounds like they are stuffed softer, so you'll probably have a much easier time spooning Starlight. Looking forward to seeing her.
>>
>>25890875

If I sleep with Big Luna in that position, its more like this. XD. Not that it isn't comfortable, but you have to be in the right position or you'll get smothered....
>>
>>25892830
it's a good addiction

>>25893623
nice Rainbow Power Flutters
Dashie is cute too

>>25893671
>I am on the couch right now with my life size Cheerilee draped over me with one arm around her neck and the other one under her tail hand cupping her flank. I am content right now.
comfy af, mang

>>25893617
I have to agree
those plots are better for hot dogging anyway
>>

So to you and all the other large pony plush owners: Where do you see them in the distant future, age 30, 40+? Plan to love them for life? What would you do if family found out? (Or do they already know?) I'm in my mid 20's and I don't really know. Sometimes it feels like I've got just a few good plush loving years left before I go back to dating. Other times I am fully contented.
>>
>>25894934
I'm 35 and I own the three Agatrix pones in thread. I don't care who sees them but they do not leave the house. Some of my family knows, I live alone in my own house. I have had girlfriends and relationships before and I see them as a waste of resources. I am content living alone. I don't see myself loosing interest in my ponies for a long long time.
>>
>>25894976
I'm kind of with you there. I enjoy living alone. Dating ppl has been fun, long term relationships memorable, but I don't think i get as much out of it as others. Definitely no kids or marriage. Just trying to make my Neysa ponies last as long as they can. So far they are aging well. She cotton reinforces and double stitches everything. Hoping Agatrix does too.
>>
>>25894934
Agatrix Moonbutt owner here. I'm 26 and...yea, with the other guys. I've tried 3DPD, and it just wasn't for me. I fully plan to love her for life, I'm just worried about how well she'll hold up a decade from now...it's not like I'll be able to replace her, if the need arises, and I've already had to patch her up once (thanks US Customs! Assholes).

If my family found out? Eh, fuck it. They already think I'm weird, what's one more thing? I'd be more curious about how they got in my apartment.
>>
>>25895040
I have a feeling the NeysaNight ponies are alot more durable than the Agatrix ponies. I am overly careful with my Agatrix pones because I want them to last for untold years.
>Definitely no kids of marriage.
Same here!
>>
>>25894934
I'm 33
I've been in real relationships and they are just not for me. more trouble than they are worth from my experience
alone and lonely are two different things
I'm content with my plushies and I like my alone time
I live on my own
my family knows I like pone, but not how far down the rabbit-hole I am with it
pone has been in my life since G1, so it's safe to say I'll never get tired of pone
>>
>>25895191
That and Neysa does insane amounts of hand stitching on the faux fur manes and tails. Literally working under minimum wage for her prices. I've gotten to know her a bit, she's a perfectionist with her seamlines.
>>
>>25893477
Oh man I thought I was the only one who always gets a boner when sleeping with his life size pony. luckily she's lewd.
>>
>>25894934
Just like >>25894976 I also have a full size lewd pone. But I also am lucky enough to have a gf who is ok about it.

I'm hoping my plushie lasts forever. But realistically I know in five years or so I may need to have her remade. With constant cuddling not sure how long she can last.
>>
Finally got my nice pics of Harshwhinny uploaded
>>
>>25896579
Also this adorable Maud. Definitely my favorite chibi so far Though I'm biased as fuck
>>

I think a better question is who doesn't get a chubby with their ls waifu?
I get one every night

Having one handy is indeed a great remedy for Morning Wood.

Say hello to my new arrivals. The aurora 26" sitting ponies.

Pro's:
Squishy and cuddly, larger than they look, inexpensive for size and quality. Brightens up the room if you have space for em.

Con's:
Head is a little tall, not very circular.
Eyes could be bigger.
Dash's mane is shit. Wings are rigid.
They have 3 thick cardboard tubes in the body / front arms, you have to make a hole in a lewd place to remove all 3 easily, gives them more flexibility and cuddlability. I did so with Pinkie so far, you can sew them back up with an invisible ladder stitch if you know how.
They wouldn't make good lewd ponies unless you are planning on doing something with the mouth (and a sleeve, pretty cute big snout, tempted) but the plot is unattractively wide and flat, no butt. Made me feel silly when assuming the position.
>>
>>25896499
>in five years or so I may need to have her remade
makeover!

>>25896451
it's because of the feeling of closeness, being touched and "intimacy"
not to mention, having a physical representation of your waifu
>>
>>25896689
Yeah, I gotta say I feel more closely intimate with my waifu plush than I've felt with 3dpd
>>
>>25897430
The sex is better, lasts longer, and doesn't lead to obligations!
>>
>>25896601

Hmmm, this phenomenon occurs with me as well. Could call it the "cuddle boner".

valid points but I think the aesthetics can slide at this price.
I actually like the tube as it keeps her head in place when I hug and kiss her from the front. and the tube arms help her ''hug back"
>but the plot is unattractively wide and flat, no butt.
but the round plumpness makes pinkie perfect for cuddle spooning

and if you feel silly, that will go away as you get used to her
>>
>>25897865
Those 2 are gonna be mostly just room decor ponies, unless I make that mouth-hug modification... true though they are indeed nice for lap cuddles & spooning.

With my laying ponies I like to straddle them between my legs, facing the TV so I can rub their back hooves while we watch stuff.
>>
>>25898037
>true though they are indeed nice for lap cuddles & spooning.
you have no idea. Between my two lifesize pinkies, my favorite position is still cuddling my aurora ponk from behind and that is saying something

How much have we spent on our plushies in total? Official + commissions.

I think I'm at about.... *calculates* $4,200-ish

about 2k so far

I'm "only" around $1200 or so.

>>
Question. How big is a life-size pony, and how much material (in metres) would be required for just the body? Follow TwiAnons guide.
>>
>>25898863
Better than none!
I'm retiring from buying any more. (I hope) 4.2k is enough spent. 7 LS

>mfw I look away from the computer.

These three beauties only ran me about $220. I'm dying to get some more plushies though.

>>25898982
How big is life size? For something like 35" I'd recommend like 3 yards for the body.
>>
>>25898340
not counting the paid off vaporplush I've yet to receive from doublebackstitch, I've spent $1100 dollars on pinkie plush
no regrets
>>
>>25896451
I seem to consistently wake up about an hour after I fall asleep every night. It's most definitely not just you. Having a lifesize pone is a wondrous thing.

>>25896601
Likewise.

>>25896591
D'aaw. I've grown more fond of Maud after reading some of a Trixie/Maud comic.

>>25897465
Couldn't agree more.

>>25898982
>>25899165
Three yards might be a bit overkill. Two yards can make a 32", 14" and a beanie based off the 14" pattern. With proper layout two is enough but an extra yard isn't expensive. Plus leftover fabric can be used on extra plushies or mistakes.

>>25898340
Roughly $180 on two lifesize, two beanies, and two others. 10 4de adds up to anoither $250.
>>
>>25898340
$4966 for OOAK's
This does not include Minuette or Sweetie Belle or Starlight still in the pipeline.
This does not include official merch in the other rooms

>>25896670
Love spooning and lap cuddling my Aurora Ponk still
>>
My whole den smells like Agatrix pone now. They smell good! My T-shirt smells good from Cheerilee being on top of me all night. I keep getting up and leaving the computer room to go look at my new LS pones to make sure I'm not still dreaming.
>>
>>25897865
I am leaving the tubes in my Ponk. I like how she hugs my arm and some firmness is good for intense squeezing. I passed out last night from a really bad tension headache and I woke with this Ponk in my arms under my chin.

>>

Just like black minky. But at least minky sits still.
>>
>>25898340
I'd say about 600-700, I went the route of buying my own set up so I can have infinite plushies
>>
>>25898340
On plushies in general? Somewhere around $600 over a long ass period of time. On ponies? $50. All of my pony plushies were gifts except for one, and I bought one for a friend. If I had the dough I'd commission a life sized one, but that probably won't happen for a while, well after the movie is out.

I just want a big, good quality pony plushie to cuddle. Is that too much to ask?

Spent about $1500 on plushes over 3 and a half years. Most of it goes to one plush that was about $500. Made a lifesize for about $200 though, easily my favorite
>>
>>25898340

I'm probably somewhere north of $5k at this point. I try not to think about it XD. Cuddles have been totally worth it.
>>
The best part about getting a new life-size plush (or any plush) is trying to figure out what cuddle/hug/snuggle positions work well.
