Any of you guys seen the Sazer series?
I've been aware of chou sazer X cause I recall learning about it in a tokusatsu magazine(forgot the name) a while back and always thought it looked super rad.
Sazers are essential early 00s tokusatsu.
Gransazer is a really great show and pretty much a "good" version of Kyuranger. Handles a 12-heroes idea a lot better than many Riders and Sentai do.
Justirisers is an above-average Sentai show. Probably the weakest of the whole trilogy, but decent enough, since it heavily relies on characters and tried to develop them.
Sazer X is closer to Tomica in terms of humour. Not really something spectacular, but has its own sense of identity. This one is the easiest of the bunch to watch and probably easiest to enjoy, if you want a light-hearted show.

How well does the Sazer series handle their mechs in terms of action and design compared to Sentai?

Sazers are made by Toho, the guys behind Godzilla, so they know their giant stuff.
Sazer's mech isn't as flashy or fast as some Sentai stuff, but it's fucking HUGE and feels like an actual GIANT MECH. I remember feeling weight behind these things.

seen all three of them.
gransazers seemed to be the weakest due to the large cast. x is more comedy oriented but fun (suit designs are iffy except for leo). justirizer is the best IMO.

Dunno, I've found Gransazers' story the most compelling out of all three and cast (for the most part) is much more memorable than in other two Sazer series.
