***READ THE GUIDE***
For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions, as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here!
If you're new, you're gonna fuck up. Don't worry! If you're experienced, don't make the new people worry!
>Why won't anyone answer my question?
Try being specific, especially about your materials and process. Post pictures whenever possible; even if the kit/part looks bad, you are more likely to get help posting pictures.

== THICK MS GROUPBUILD ==
Build a kit of your choice that's heavily armored, and thick in the thighs/arms/torso/general area. Examples include:
>Dom + Dom Variants
>The O
>Virtue/Seravee Gundams
>Gusion/Man Rodis
>Full Armor gundams (If they're heavily armored, and not guns strapped everywhere like the FA Unicorn)
Non-Bandai kits are allowed, so feel free to whip out a Frame Arms kit or something and work with that as long as you make it thicc as fuck.
Start Date: 6/15
End Date: 8/31

>Restocking the CCA Stark Jegan
>Literally the day after I cracked and pre-ordered the GM Space Command
Would anyone be able to help me with a Taobao order? I seem to be stuck at "Waiting for the warehouse to sign" with no option to pay anything. But on another page it says "Current transshipment state: parcel is being sent to transit warehouse, to be transferred after the warehouse receipt, please pay the transfer fee"
>>15828468
>being sad about getting the MG GM Space Command over a HG Jegan
>>15828485
I want both, damn it
the only one I have some interest in is the Ghost Jegan. And that one is sold out at the place I get my exclusives from
>>15828021
About 3200 yen each
I haven't touched gunpla in over a month. I did 4 MGs in a row with a couple HGs thrown in and I just got burned out. It didn't help I fucked up my GM Sniper IIs foot and haven't fixed it yet. So that kit is currently like half finished right now. I really should work on my backlog.
>>15828414
Jetfire48 is that you?
>>15828627
I haven't touched my dad in other a month.
Anyone have any ideas why the Digimon Reboot line was cancelled? Did Bandai ever give a official reason?
>>15828822
Didn't do so well, from what I hear. A shame, as the Dukemon/Gallantmon one looked pretty good and I probably would've gotten that one.
>>15826381
Can you teach us your Oyumaru recasting technique?
And how thick out of the can were these Krylon sprays you used?
>>15828804
That might have been funny if you hadn't fucked up spelling "over"
>>15828187
I would be able to hide the PG.
You guys have until Noon tomorrow to get your stuff in for the Groupbuild. I'll start posting stuff then.
And I'm officially calling this one finished.

>x3 comes with butterfly busters
nani? i don't remember it having those
>>15829046
>>15829048
>>15829047
It doesn't, this was a resin conversion kit.
So I finished this one ( except for painting it)finally after having the thing sit in my room for 6 years because I wasn't happy with the mg Gundam Store and More randomly picked for me, and I like it and all, but there's one problem. . . .
>>15829071
>>15829076
Forgot to add text, but I lost the second from bottom panel thingy because they were a bitch to put in and it flung to idk where the fuck when I tried using my tweezers to put it in, what's the best place holder so it doesn't look so incomplete?
>>15829076
>>15829087
Barely noticeable mang
Paint over it?
never forget
>>15828928
>Can you teach us your Oyumaru recasting technique?
I'm not exactly good at it, all the parts I made turned out terrible, even the two I used on the kit are slightly misshapen and have an obvious "cast" look that makes them seem out of place, but here are some tips:
-It's good to poke holes in the bottom piece of the mold and press the top piece into them to make sure everything lines up right, like how gunpla pieces go together.
-I noticed that it's important to shake the oyumaru off after putting it in hot water to get it mostly dry, having a lot of water in the mold will make bubbles that cause bulges in pieces.
-clean the molds before melting them down again, mine has a bunch of flakes of milliput inside it thanks to me neglecting to do that
-the hardest part of the whole process is filling the mold completely while not putting too much in to put the second part on properly, making extra channels or holes for excess to go through(kinda like Gunpla runners) helps a bit but you have to be very careful to only put in the exact amount of material the piece needs, it won't just squeeze out easily if you press the two parts of the mold together, the mold will just warp and you'll end up with an overly thick piece with giant pieces of flash
-try to avoid having seam lines in the middle of the piece, I found that I was better able to mold the piece in pic related with the mold in pic related that covers most of the piece rather than just half, the oyumaru is soft enough to just bend it until you can wiggle the piece out
>And how thick out of the can were these Krylon sprays you used?
They were fine after some shaking, coat of paint wasn't too thick unless I sprayed too close or too slow, but a few times they made an extremely rough sandpaper texture on the pieces if I didn't shake them properly, spray on whatever you're using to hold the piece first to tell if the paint's coming out properly.
Putting together the RG Qant and I gotta ask, is it just me or is the connection of the shield's swivel really weak?
I mean it's a peg and a hole, but if I try to rotate the shield, the peg falls out.
>>15829585
It's pretty finicky. In theory it has a locking mechanism where it can only be removed at a specific angle but it breaks very easily
>>15828471
Looks like they are trying to China you up. Hope it wasn't too expensive an item.
>>15829596
Guess I'll thicken it with some glue then.
Also it seem that the rotation on the upper arms is really loose. Is that just my kit or is that normal with all the RG Qant kits?
>>15829605
no, but it's odd because I didn't have an issue before
The legs are so sexy, however I'm concerned about how small the feet are.
>>15829609
I haven't noticed anything like that with mine
>>15829069
>It doesn't, this was a resin conversion kit.
I was trying to figure out where you got X-0's gun blades and I guess that explains it.
>>15829708
hmm, well it's loose on mine. Superglue seems to be doing its job though.
>>15829688
You won't need to worry about the size of the feet once you get the skis on.
>>15829486
I also tried following that one FAG guide to recasting faces on that wiki page, but doing it with epoxy resin builds up heat that the oyumaru mold deforms.
I don't know how that one guy managed to do it.
>>15828464
Submitted.
Here's a derp test image while I was setting up to prove it's mine. I kind of forgot to take decent WIP photos until the end and those were posted last thread.
>>15830095
The tiny pauldrons (when compared to the chest) make the kit look strange
who tryna get stabbed for real though
>>15830101
I know. I wanted to emphasize the bulk of the torso compared to the rest so I left them as the stock gm command arms I used instead of something thicker.
>>15830101
Aww, I like it! Makes the chest look MAXIMUM THICC. It has this fatboi's seal of approval!
>>15830121
What's with the confetti?
Also I like it.
>>15830145
It's bits of masking tape that was on certain metallic parts (Like the gun barrels) to protect them from the flat coat.
>>15830178
I choose to believe you had a party to celebrate finishing your kit.
>>15830095
>>15830101
Looks like he's wearing a life vest, especially with the orange.
Great job, though the torso/shoulder gap kinda bothers me.
>>15830224
Like I said, it was a derp pic. I pushed it further in.
Anyone built this? It worth the money? It looks bad ass(in my opinion), it would be my first MG since the Strike IWSP.
>>15830341
Yeah go ahead. Just be careful with the sleeves: don't make them too tight.
Also optional rule, build the backpack first.
Has anybody here tried assembling a model together without instructions or an image to go off on? I feel like it could be a fun 3D puzzle that could have interesting outcomes.
>>15830374
The only outcome of that is a shitty model, regardless of grade or line.
>>15830374
>tried cutting every parts out of runner to figure out how to build once

Just watched 0080 again. Want to get the Alex.
HG or MG? They are both older, and looking on Amazon I see the reviews are all over the place.
>>15830564
The proportions of the backpack and that new trikeros are a bit wrong, they should be bigger, besides that the kit itself looks good.
>>15830876
why don't you get its modern incarnation instead?
>>15830876
MG
They're both old and noticeably outdated, but the MG is far and away higher quality
>>15830887
This thing is like a bad joke.
>>15830883
>>15830889
Any issues with the MG?
>>15830892
Really limited colour separation (especially the flat thrusters, which are all just white, not white and yellow) and details, a few noticeable seam lines, articulation could be better
>>15830887
>>15830374
I can do that with the HGUC GM, but only because it's a small and simple kit and I've built over a dozen GMs already since I fucking love the GM and I want to fill up a bath tub with GMs for me to bury myself in while I jack off to the thought of GMs slaughtering zeeks.
>>15830787
The usual plan is once the current Groupbuild ends, we do a short poll for what everyone's favorite entries were while discussing possible ideas for the next Groupbuild. Once that one's done I'll make a strawpoll for what the next Groupbuild, and we'll probably start in the middle of September.
Also there's about 3 hours left, so entries soon
>>15830962I followed the instructions on my Sazabi and I still put the knee joints in backwards.

dude EMS is faking fast to aus wtf
Just got this, does it have any quirks I should look out for while building?
Is it normal for the pauldron of the MG Rick Dias to move so much? It is kinda worrying
>>15831036
The joints are loose, but they're loose for a reason.
Also, tons of panel lining.

I feel really ambivalent towards Unicorn's design
Unicorn mode is hella sweet to look, but destroy mode is a little too stupid looking for my tastes, especially the forced gundam head transformation.
The forearms beam sabers also feels unnecessary

Same here, I still don't understand why it's so popular. is it because of those shiny lights?

>>15831168
did you not see the press release that said this months ago?

Do you need to put topcoat on before using panel line accent color? I heard it can crack the gunpla without it.

Every time.
First post of my build here. Please be gentle senpais
Next project on my list is weathering, which I know jack shit about. Any starter tips?
>>15831224
I've seen so much conflicting info on this I don't even know anymore. People have reported everything from "it won't do anything" to "only if you use too much will it actually crack" to "it practically disintegrated in my hands."
Personally I've tested it on only one kit, and it's still sitting on my shelf in one piece, perfectly fine. Last time someone asked this question was like a week ago and I took that kit and messed around with it and was fine then, and it's still fine now. But I'd still hesitate to use it on bare plastic regularly. Plus giving it a quick gloss coat before using the panel line accent actually helps it flow better, in my experience.
>>15831224
Do it without any paint or clear coat at all on your own risk. I wouldn't recommend it.
>1/1 Unicorn
>tfw we will never have a 1/1Tallgeese
Why am I even still breathing ? End my suffering
>>15831264
>actually thinking a secondary-at-best suit from a mediocre series should get a statue built of it
Yeah, you should probably go ahead and kill yourself.
>>15831254
Well, my quick experience with it before I stopped using it on bare plastic:
>use it on a 1/100 graze with no issues
>use it on RG zaku until a wasteskirt broke from me moving it slightly
The thickness of the plastic and how the panel lines work probably matters a lot, with the RG there were several tiny and thin pieces forming the panel lines on the waistskirt.
Which obviously isn't a good combination with a slow drying liquid that makes plastic brittle.
>>15831264
I'd rather have Strike Freedom.
>>15831270
Oh look, another Exia. What a shock.
>>15831254
>>15831256
>>15831272
>already panel lined the entire legs of the kit I am working on
>did not top coat
>>15831228
>weathering, which I know jack shit about.
1) Less is more. Don't go overboard with your weathering. Smearing a bunch of paint on your kit like pic related isn't weathering, it just looks sloppy. Also if you're thinking of trying to make bullet holes or something, keep them small/in scale.
2) Consider where you want to apply weathering. If you want your Graze to be used mainly in space, it wouldn't make sense for it to be heavily weathered on the feet with mud and stuff.
3) Look up some tutorials on youtube on stuff like paint chipping and washes.
>>15831272
The kit I used it on was an HG Grimgerde, which most of the pieces aren't that thick but it also doesn't exactly have a lot of lines that go over thinner areas, so that could make a lot of difference.
>>15831228
Chipping mainly goes on exposed edges and the like.
An easy way of doing it is to start with the sponge method and then merge some of the chips with a fine brush. Also, vallejo camouflage black brown seems to be the go to color for chips.
>>15831228
look up tutorials, they're incredibly useful if you're a beginner
>>15831270
>All of the JP text is talking about RGs.
>The lineart on the right is from the RG.
You've gotta try harder than that.
>>15831286
*german camouflage black brown.
Such a long name, I was bound to miss a word.
>>15831148
This is why I never panel line my kits. I just deepen the grooves as much as possible depending on the scale of the kit.
Real life mechas do NOT have panel lines, you scrubs.
>>15831298
>real life mechas
This is a nice ass. DM really stepped their game up with this kit.
Feeling too lazy to do the skis right now. Probably gonna start on the upper body after work tomorrow
>>15831300
>2d girls
>>15831302
How are the ankles? The Bandai MG Exia has the worst ankles on any Gunpla and can't stand properly on it's own. Have the Chicom fixed that?
>>15831307
Ankles are good. I hope DM does their inevitable Exia kits with this frame because it's so sturdy and compact.
Well it's noon, so no time better than now to start posting the entries for the thick groupbuild.
With a total of 18 entrants we've hit a new record for most submissions, making this the largest groupbuild yet.
Let's get this show on the road.
>>15831334
Oh boy, here we go.
>>15831334
>Thiccbuild is the largest groupbuild yet
>>15831334
>Thick build is the largest build.
Fitting.
First up is the Juaggajasura, a Juaggu custom with a bit more emphasis on the elephant-like trunk and the bulking up on the legs. Pretty unique colorscheme too.
>>15831176
Meant the flat ones around the shoulder/at the top of the backpack. Should have yellow insides.
Who needs more dakka when you're piloting The Behemoth? This thing's loaded with enough guns to blow a hole in a colony. Nice shading on the bodyparts here.
>>15831347
Easy fix. Shit, even a yellow gundam marker would fix that up.
This FAZZ had been posted a bunch here in WIP stages, but the final product really speaks for itself. The extra bulk on the legs/crotch really fill it out. Sweet shield and yellow/grey colorscheme, too.
>>15831353
It's a pain in the arse painting the insides and outsides of a ring different colours
Speaking of grey and yellow, the Dom Bunker shows that protection is always important by bringing along 4 bulky shields. Who needs to carry weapons around when you can smack face with your shield just as well?
Keeping it vanilla is the Golden O, with a straight metallic finish on a base HG The O. Sometimes flashy doesn't mean having Hyaku Shiki proportions.
>>15831281
>>15831286
>>15831287
Thanks for pointers! Yea, figured I should go for chipping since it's designed for space battles.
Will post once it's finished. Gunpla is life
>>15831347
Ah, those. I thought you meant the backpack.
My bad.
The Nox Gundam looks and sounds edgy, but don't be too afraid. Underneath all that edge is a nice bulky MS with a soft side. Cool attempt at a psuedo-Gundam Mk V
Even in death he still serves, and this Heavy Flamer Rodi is ready to serve up something hot! This is only the first of many Rodi entries in this groupbuild, and one of two 40k-inspired builds!
>>15831384
>This is only the first of many Rodi entries in this groupbuild
Gee, who would have guessed.
On the more simple side of things we've got this Revive Qubeley. Not much to say here other than good work on the panel lining.
Spotting a spiffy desert tan deco, this Serpent/Neue Ziel kitbash is looking nice and squat. The application of the wash is on point.
>>15831386
If it's any consolidation, there's as many Man Rodis as there are The Os.
So thicc the builder couldn't get that many poses out of it, this MG Super Custom Zaku F2000 is quite the beast. I mean look at that axe!
Raptor Rodi's ready to rip and tear into his opponents in this groupbuild, and he's got the knifes to do it! Nice Landman Rodi paint job.
>>15831387
How is Qubeley thick ?
Last of The Os is the Regal Goliath, taking an already large suit and bulking the heck out of its feet/arms/shoulders/chest. The Gyan head really accentuates the size of the thing.
This one's got a bone to pick with you, /m/! The Hazel Carchadon's flat grey and black color palette goes well with the shark/skulls aesthetic.
Forget most entries, this has the highest skill level/effort of any group build so far.
People have been stepping their game up.
>>15831415
I know, right? Now I REALLY don't want to enter next time. These guys have knocked it out the park.
>>15831228
I like it. looks cute
It's a Grimoire, I'm not sure what else I should say here other than the panel work and nub removal look pretty solid here. The photos he submitted were probably the most fun.
I wanna say this is the first non-bandai kit we've had in one of these, but this Frame Arms Kagutsuchi kit is looking real nice in this reddish brown coloring.FAG when?
>>15831415
>>15831421
I'm in the same boat. There's been some real great stuff so far, and all better than my GM Stiker or Zudah from previous groupbuilds. I really need to buy an airbrush already.
Time for some really nice sculpting work on the Leviathan Perse. Looks like it's going for a sort of "Possessed sea wreckage" look.
"An early prototype made by Anaheim Electronics after the war not intended for production or to sell, but simply to gather more data on more thickly armored and heavier ms." That's the information I received for the builder on his Golioth.
>>15831443
I usually feel like weathering is extraneous and takes away from the look of a build, but then there's the inevitable opposite like this, where weathering would probably accentuate the look by complementing the organic parts.
Nice sculpt.
The last entry is the GM Assault Cannon II, who took an already bulky MS and made it even bigger. Check out those legs and the propulsion tanks you can barely see in the back!
And here's the group photo for the groupbuild. Asides from a few initial kinks this groupbuild was really fun with a good mix of Gundam types, Zeon MS, and AU suits.
I'm gonna do another poll like the one for the Melee groupbuild where you can vote for specific categories for each entry. This poll will run from now until the end of next thread (So this one and the next). After that we can start polling for the next Groupbuild.

>>15831434

>>15831468

>>15831131

>>15831462
The entries this time are so nice, i feel kinda bad for not joining
So do i really neeeeed to let vallejo primer sit for more than a day before painting it? I'm getting antsy from all this waiting
>>15831494
With vallejo paint? No.
Wrote out a big post giving my thoughts on very kit but by the time I got to the end I realised I was just saying "I love it" to just about every kit. Felt a bit pointless so I'll save space and just congratulate everyone that joined this time, great work all around. Very impressed, good work.
Some real talented builders around here, shame it gets filtered out by all the tripcode faggotry.
>>15831479
Change it to having elin tier proportions and I'm sold. As long as the thighs are thick, nothing else matters.

I initially started these groupbuilds with the goal of encouraging self-improvement/experimenting with new techniques in these threads, as well as to get more people to actually building and not arguing with tripfags. You shouldn't feel afraid to enter just because you see one or two really good entries during one groupbuild.

>>15831614
>Maybe Shell or UPS.
Hell no anon, the color scheme is inspired by ferrari, but I don't actually want it to look like one.
Whuch gundam markers are better for panel lining? I've been using the fine tip pens but i'm curious about trying the real touch markers.
>>15831610
I agree, I always try to enter despite not doing any customising (just painting the kit) and most of the time I get no votes at all, but I still enjoy the idea of a competition and it motivates me to try more and new stuff every time.
Didn't enter this time though since I loath the theme. Looking forward to the next one.

Yes please. I wish we'd have more from this line. I want my PG ZZ.

Thank you, I feel stupid now.
How are the PG:s that use screws? I haven't built any kits that use screws so I'm a bit afraid of getting a kit that does.
ibo gundam frame too spooky
>>15831667
Jesus Christ. You just know some poor fella's gonna think that's good value and buy it, too.
>>15831700

Indeed, don't let your lack of talent stop you!

I don't like the v-fin but apart from that it's pretty nice.

It would've looked better with a command horn. Also cut those safety nubs.
>>15831777
Yeah, I get polarizing opinions about the fin. People either like it a lot or don't, I never posted a build here so I was curious what /m/ would have to say about it. Thanks though!
>>15831753
Silly zaku you can be a gundumb.

I like it. Very unique for a Zaku. The V-fin is very different, but I think it works when the whole suit comes together

>>15831806
Physalis MLRS version! That pack is going on there too, it's a bitch to get on since it's a Ball joint. Used polycaps and ballden sockets to get them to work on the hip pegs on the zaku
>>15831817
Yeah this was the one I was referring to ->>15831818 , but I can see the small differences now
>>15831827
That is the GP02, the RX-78 is the original normal Gundam
>>15831833

>>15831833
This is the RX-78, anon, physalis is GP-02, not to be an ass about it but the difference is pretty big.
>>15831842
Oh durr, I see what you mean now. All of the Stardust Memory Gundams are derivative of RX-78, they just go by GP-0X to differentiate.
>>15831802
Hey, Desperado.
>>15831802
I think you like black and red.
Personally I'm kind of trying to avoid it due to the edge meme, but I'll probably do my RG unicorn in black anyway. I don't intend to transform it though, so the red would barely be visible.
>>15831862
Honestly I just try not to give in to the edge meme unless I explicitly aim for it.

Anon if you wanna be nitpicky that is the RX-78-02. That's like calling the GP02 just the "GP". Pic related is the RX-78-05, which is still part of the RX-78 line.
>>15831875
Could do. I just don't like painting kits in their original colors, feels rather pointless to me.

How the fuck do I proper remove nubs/stress marks? I have gundam planet nippers and I cut close, and 1/2 the time it does the job, but other times it leaves a very close stress mark. If I use heavy sand paper(600?) it fucks up the plastic and light paper (1200?) doesn't do shit and still fucks it up a tiny bit.
Which 1/100 or MG should I start with in general? I REALLY liked try burning, but I hated it after adding the fire pieces (looked bad and were impossibly hard to attach/study the back/strands on the fire punch. >>15833898
My fault for not reading the whole chain of comments I guess.

>>15833901
It happens, mate.
I have a really cool idea for a civilian build, but I'm kind of bummed out after this build.
I'm not sure I even want to participate in the next build, considering how worthless acrylic is and the fact that I don't have the cash to throw at lacquer.
>>15833917
>considering how worthless acrylic is
I did my entry in acrylics apart from the metallics, what is your issue with them?
>finally finish 1/100 Crossbone Full Cloth
>legs weak as hell, model can't stand up without crumpling in on itself with the cloth on
>shoulders pop off if you move it
>front cloth pieces pop off if you even look at it wrong
>some parts don't fully click into each other
>hands can't hold nearly any weapons given how heavy they are
Did I get a bad/damaged kit or is this just a bad kit? Reviews on Amazon hated it.
>>15833917
>how worthless acrylic is
Excuse me? Acrylic is fine anon, I paint all my stuff in acrylic and it looks good.
>>15833922
The main problem is that even after topcoating with Vallejo's poly varnish it's still incredibly weak that it rubs off on parts that see a lot of contact, specifically where the upper arm connects to the shoulder.
The paint adds too much thickness to the point that even after sanding joints, it's still so stiff that the leg sheared off at the knee while posing.
>>15833943
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
>>15833949
Paint in thinner layers and let the cure longer. Acrylic is dry to the touch in no time, but letting it cure takes longer.
>>15832321
>Civilian Groupbuild (Build a MS that's designed for a non-military role.
I really love this idea too
>>15832365
>Stolen Groupbuild (Build a MS made by one faction, but change its aesthetics and style to its rival faction [ex. Zeon-themed Guntank, Federation-themed Zeong, Titans-themed Zeta, AEUG-themed Psycho Gundam])
This sounds really good.
How do you kitbash, anyways? I can't imagine all of the UC HGs are compatible.
>>15833950
I paint in two layers and let it cure for a full week.
>>15833956
If you have too much thickness after a mere two layers then yes;
>Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Keep experimenting
Does anyone else open the box, take all the runners out, grab the manual from the bottom of the box, put all the runners back in and then put the manual on top before putting the lid back on and setting the kit on the backlog shelf?
>>15834011
Yup, same here
>>15834011
Fuck, I thought I was the only one.
>>15833973
Well, 2 layers each of primer, color, and varnish. So 6 layers. It adds up enough on joints.
>>15834011
Don't you mean
>open box
>take out the manual at the bottom of box
>look at manual
>look at the time
>place manual back in the box
>keep it in storage and never touch it again
>>15833955
If it's too big to fit, sand down. If it's too small to fit, use putty.
>>15834011
>open box
>take out manual from the bottom
>place it on top
>close box
>open it instantly after and start building
My autism is maximum
>>15834025
Even with that I've never ever had any problem with joints being that stiff or anything. Let alone snapping of anything.
>>15833949
I would use something else than acrylics for the joints, I don't find it to be durable enough for that specific task, at least not on MG:s. Not that bad on HG:s.
I use ak xtreme metal line with a gloss black lacquer base for metallics and inner frames, which is quite durable. Tamiya spray cans are also durable enough.
For the rest of the kit I find vallejo acrylics to be durable enough.
>>15834062
Yo I do the same thing. I hate that they put it on the bottom
>>15834107
>>15834091
What psi do you spray acrylics at? I think maybe that could be my problem.
Also the knee was weak to begin with, it's a flimsy design and was stressed before paint. That's not the point though. I'll try some new techniques.
>>15834144
I don't think it affects it, but at 15-20 psi.
Stupid question but how delicate are Gunpla? I want to get into the hobby, I just wonder if they'll get crushed in my luggage when I'm bringing them home from Uni.
>>15834205
They're somewhat tougher compared to something like a model plane, but you should still be careful.
The riskiest thing about moving gunpla are the thin and small pieces, like parts of the head.
Just keep the boxes so you can put the models in them during transit.
Note that I'm assuming that you've built them in uni and you're taking home completed kits.
