dont be afraid to update your gunpla constantly, you'll always be finding new gear and its good to change it up if you find better/rarer weapons, also if you ever run out of money hit the arena up a few times and challenge the lower tiers if you're starting out.

in a way no, but it will give you a better appreciation for kitbashing.
