This is Lt. Agar the pilot of the Mudrock Gundam.
Say something nice about him.
Mold grows really well on him.

>One of my favorite rx-78 variants.
>Considered also one of the most powerful around.
>Epic fail.
Can someone remind me why he has failed? Was he really so incapable?
>>15765687
Hotblooded moron who tried to solo perhaps the most operator of all mobile suit teams. It doesn't matter how good your suit is if you're outnumbered and outgunned
>>15765717
>hotbloodness and GAR doesn't solve a thing
/m/ BTFOD
>>15765615
He was determined..
>>15765615
I refuse. Fuck that guy
He was fun to murder repeatedly
I'm out of the loop, can someone explain to me what happened to the guy?
>>15765792
He ended up joining the Titans in a buddy cop duo with Romfellow before getting reassigned to Antarctica after they disobeyed orders in stopping a nuke attack on the Republic of Zeon.
>>15765615
He's a good GM Cannon pilot.
>>15765615
Motherfucker pilots one of the best RX-78 variant and jobs so hard it gets destroyed in the end. He needs a slap from the rest of the RX-78 Pilots.
He has Domon's dub voice and his Gundam is the perfect blend of Gundam and Guncannon design philosophy
>>15765615
The Mudrock is one of my favorite OYW RX-78s, too bad literally no one can come to a consensuses on the eye color. In game its red, in fanart its blue, green, and yellow. In official art its red or green.
I always read this as Murdock Gundam.
>>15765687
>incapable
>>15765717
>Hotblooded moron
That's just Domon's voice actor just conveying the hot bloodedness. If anything, Ager is a cool headed tactical pilot
He BTFO Ford and Luce at Jaburo
Ager also saves the Thoroughbred before assisting the Blanc Rival
Ager really mind fucked Ford on earth.
>Out ranks Ford
>Saves his ass again
Ford why do you suck so much?
Ager>Luce as MS mentor
Ford is the hotblooded pilot on the real
Ager & Ford are goold little Titans
>Ager following orders?!
>Saving Ford's ass for a 3rd time
God damn, how did he become a Gundam test pilot again?!
>Ager also BTFO Matt Healy
Get fucked you pacifist pussy
Atleast they're not in the Titans by the time of Zeta
>I'd ship them...
>>15765717
>>15765717
his situation was the equivalent of amuro fighting the black tri stars as soon as he activated the gundam
>>15765729
Grunts > hotblood
They are incompatible and sides must be taken.

>>15766609

>>15766602
>>15766596
Can you post the scene with the defeat of the Mudrock? Well Ager seem a nice guy after all.
>>15766636
>Grunts > hotblood
Frontline Grunts or Special Force Elites??? Tough choice
>>15766694
>scene with the defeat of the Mudrock
Gundam Legacy doesn't really depict events from Zeonic Fronts(mostly post game stuff and what the Midnight Fenrir did during 0084-85). The Mudrock's defeat is alluded to when Agar is dispatched to Africa to stop the Midnight Fenrir (who just teamed up with Desert Rommel fro ZZ) post end game Zeonic Front
Gundam Legacy was such a great manga. The chapter about the MSV pilot Lydo Wolf's origins was perfect character development for the "Dancing Black Death"
>>15765618
Underrated post
>>15765615
>Mudrock
>GM Cannon II
He piloted some sexy suits.
>>15765687
>>15765717
He's like Kou in that he's a great pilot with great combat sense, but he's just an oldtype against an entire squad of battle tested ace pilots. There's no one like Amuro in the federation, the dude's literally a monster so it's unfair to use him as the measuring stick.
>>15767563
>no one like Amuro in the federation, the dude's literally a monster
Not really, there's at least one person:
>Surpasses Amuro's kill record w/149 mobile suits shot down and 3 ships destroyed
>rumored to be a newtype as well
>survives the OYW
>>15765615
He was a generally talented test pilot and soldier who ended up fighting against the wrong enemies at the worst times.
While Zeon was blitzing across Earth, Agar was organizing tank corps into effective anti-mobile suit squads, eventually leading to the Federation bringing him into the Guncannon deployment program.
Prior to his enounter with the Midnight Fenrir in the Gobi Desert, his Guncannon unit had nearly destabilized Zeon in its entirety in China, even forcing them to abandon multiple vital resource facilities needed to keep the region viable for occupation. Unfortunatly for him, like most Guncannon pilots, he failed to adapt to the melee enviorment of the battlefield and was ambusted by the Midnight Fenrir, leading to the destruction of his unit, save his own Guncannon.
Fast forward past his defeat at Odessa and Jaburo, he is given command over the RX-78-6 Mudrock, seen by many as the peak of the V-projects development. With his own talents as a Midrange fighter, he nearly crushed the entire Zeon defensive lines protecting the HLV launch sites, only to be stopped by Midnight Fenrir again. Had the team not been in the area, he possibly could have dealt an even graver blow to the evacuating forces in California.
The guy was definitely hot blooded, but he progressively became more stable near the end of the war. Though he definitely has a valid reason to hate the Midnight Fenrir as much as he did prior to California if the events of G Generation Genesis are seen as the new retelling of those events.

Jung was a sniper wasn't he? It'd explain the kills. Amuro does his business up close and personal, like a serial killer
>>15767621
If we go by gameplay stats from Gihrens Ambition for the PS2, Tenneth Jung was one, if not the most talented soldiers within the Federations ranks, though still quite far off from Amuro in every stat thats not Charisma or Leadership.
Only a few pilots on the Federations Side during the One Year were close enough to take on Amuro directly in terms of ability. Proto-Zero, or Zero Murasame, had abilities that rivaled Amuro's, but he was only deployed in the final days of the war, limiting his usability.
While Amuro did not get the highest kill count in the war, he got the most kills that mattered. Ral, The Tri-Stars, the entire mad angler unit, M'quve, Dozle, all major players in the One Year War whose lives were snuffed out by him, completely breaking the spine of Zeon moral wise.
>>15767629
Also Amuro was tied up with the Zeong and Char during the latter half of A Baoa Qu. That meatgrinder would be the perfect place to pad killcounts. If Char wasn't so enraged over Lalah I could easily see Amuro topping Jung.
>>15767627
>like most Guncannon pilots, he failed to adapt to the melee enviorment of the battlefield
You have to be a special mix of insane and talented to turn your Guncannon into melee fighters.
>>15767837
>a special mix of insane and talented
Hell, besides Kai and that rando from 0081 OVA, the guncannon was still melee'in during the gryps era
>>15766867
All those Natsumoto manga short stories tying up all the game side stories.
That was the golden era of OYW Side Stories, in 2000-2009.
>>15767837
By the way, how is Kai considered in OYW standards?
>>15767829
He would of had to run for resupply which could of easily been a problem since white base gets grounded about midway through the fight. But by A Baoa Qu all of zeons aces are either dead, not present, or char while as far as we know a solid portion of the fed aces are present so it would of been a relatively one sided killing contest for the fed aces will little to no opposition from zeons aces.
I would love to see a movie for the A Baoa Qu because despite it being such a shit show we dont get to see enough viewpoints for what is probably the largest battle in UC.
>>15767837
Amusingly, that whole point was addressed in a Gundam spin off game called MS Saga: A new Dawn, which was a sort of "What-if mankind destroyed itself prior to Turn A, but all of the series mentioned by it still happened"
During the main parties journey to find a weapons cartel leader in Far East Asia, they encounter a woman using a modified Guncannon designed completely for melee combat.
While the machine by now means was designed for this function, it did have the benefit of being so heavy, yet agile, that slamming the sheer weight of the machine against another would be completely devastating in actual battle.
The melee guncannon pilot does how note that she believed the Guncannon to be a Gundam-type and that its sole purpose was Melee combat. After being corrected on the machine not being a Gundam-Type, she eventually chooses to abandon her unit and to go onto a soul searching Journey deep into South America as the world enters a vicious civil war. She would eventually find a replacement for her Guncannon in the Guiana Highlands, the Shining Gundam. What became of her Guncannon is unknown, but she was able to prove [if unintentionally] the unit can be viable in Close range combat.

Self preservation is strong with Kai Shiden
>>15767627
Where'd you get all that info from? I'd like to see more stuff worth Agar, he's a cool dude.
>>15766728
>Agar is described in Zeonic Front as absolutely hating Zeon and anything to do with them
>Gunda Legacy portrays Agar as much more levelheaded, if not eventually compassionate towards Zeon
I'm not sure which Agar I'm supposed to prefer. O one hand, I love that he was voiced by Mark Gatha. On the other, I'm always one for more competent Feddies
>>15768641
Personally believe Ager can be portrayed with both as his character development. All the extra fluff material pertaining to Ager depicts both. G Gen Genesis showed that his initial hatred of the Midnight Fenrir was because they killed his best bud and smashed his tank corp. Then add Gundam Legacy portrayal and Ager feels like a more fleshed out character.
>>15766704
Feddie Operators > Zeon Operators

Dat Titans color GM Cannon II is damn sexy

that is indeed sexy look
>>15765615
He seemed like a jerk in Zeonic Front, but apparently he matures and is actually a cool guy.

He has nice hair

So was I until this post.

>In official art its red or green.
Red Eyes for Lyfe! What else suits can I team it up with in G Gen Genesis besides the Ez8? Maybe Blue Destiny and the Pale Rider?
