It's a fun MOTW show. Kouji's an absolute asshole but Boss is the best. Much of my enjoyment came from seeing where all those classic robot show tropes originated from, a lot of the specific jokes in Gekiganger 3 suddenly made a hell of a lot more sense. It was like watching Austin Powers before you've ever seen a James Bond film, then you see Thunderball and everything clicks at once.

I'm not even convinced it's the best toy oriented robot. For old school stuff I actually like the "SUPER SERIOUS" reboots of Tetsujin and Giant Robot a lot more.
