Fairly mediocre, which was about 100x better than I expected. The NuBSG approach to 'realist space-opera' designs was cool, it made good use of all the protagonists, plot moved nicely. My only real problem was it kind of fucked up Dessler, Making Gamilus a hivemind race was interesting, but the loss of a great character was a shame.

Thedeathscene could have been trimmed by about 5 min. Felt needlessly drawn out when the enemy vessel's closing in and getting ready to fire.

Probably the best live action space battles Japan has made. Story was so-so.
