Like I'm ok with them (Even if I'm only really liking St. Germain's design), but I feel like some hype in them is lost in knowing that they'd be happening since the opening spoils them. It's like if GX's opening had Christmas Carol in it and we had no context for it for a month. Imagine if the OP for episodes 2-4 were just the Geahs fighting some noise in the last portion before cutting to a fight with the non-robed Alchemists, and then seeing pic related for the first time the episode aired alongside all the shit Adam did.

Also do their Faust robes have an Ignite Module?

What even is the unit of force for one climax? Episode 3 had Trinity Resonance and episode 4 had them technically beating an Alchemist but those episodes still left the impression that we were going to go back to random fights with the Alchemists teleporting away whenever they felt like it like with GX. In the Symphogear world, do the Symphogears themselves provide the background music via speakers or something similar? Or are the characters actually singing a cappella?

The only problem I had with this episode is just how it felt like they just rushed it along in the second half to get to Adam, then kinda felt unfulfilling at the end of the episode. I mean I know it's building up for episode 5, but just felt weak.

It's hard to describe really. At first it's a thrill a minute and every waking moment is exciting and fresh. Then without realizing it you find a kind of groove. GX's are downright awful and none of the fights are interesting due to plot bullshit as well as Alca-Noise screwing with all of them. Even the Shuttle scene which is the highlight of the season is only good in its ridiculousness rather than its presentation. AXZ has had some really fucking good scenes so far and might wind up with the best overall though, episode 1 has the single best action sequence in the series and episode 2 followed it up with even more great scenes.

This series features /m/ inspired girls using specialized devices to transform, with the main character being thrown into the heat of things after running into a heavily injured character by chance that gives them the special item in question needed for them to transform. Eventually, this foe will turn face and fight against the BDSM antagonist, joining the main cast for all upcoming seasons. Over time it is shown that these newer girls fully believe they are doing the right thing and cannot receive help from the original cast of protagonists despite being pressed multiple times on the subject. At the end of it all, these newer girls wind up joining the main cast as well, the power of friendship having proved itself as they combined forces to defeat the ancient revived monster spawned by the new girls's misdeeds that they never intended to summon. An evil doctor with an amusing voice actor that lusts for power and receives it in the form of ages-old weaponry falling into their laps in partial thanks to the government is also present at some point.
