You're not the only one who thought this. ID gear was just perfect, without being overdone. I remember being pretty disappointed when I found out xenogears was the final mech.

It was more because he wanted to do more games and had the material ready, Taro hides the fucking ending of his games on stage plays and side material he also has the problem of simply going "lol and everything got somehow worse" while in every Xeno gameoutside of Saga 3 there is a decent ending to the characters instead of simply killing everyone and calling it a day

Xenogears has no chance of a remake until normies buy into mechs hardcore via movies, and I don't see Pacific Rim 2 being that.
