It's a fun series and the last level is beastishly diffcult, mostly because of its length.

Because the Aeon Genesis translation is available in pretty much every site on the net.
Also don't ever buy repos it is literally giving money to thieves, buy flashcards instead

Leynos is frustratingly hard, the zero-g controls are ass.
Valken is very good.
Leynos 2 is pretty meh.
Valken 2 is shit.
Leynos remake is pretty good.

Leynos: Extremely difficult game of "OH GOD WHY WON'T THEY STOP COMING?!" A little rough by today's standards.

Valken: Fantastic run 'n gun action with stellar designs. My favorite of the series.

Leynos 2: Not as fantastic, still pretty fun and not a very long game.

Valken 2: It's Front Mission but not.

Leynos Remake: Like the first game brought up to modern standards. Not as difficult and much prettier. Definitely worth playing.

BONUS ROUND

Front Mission Gun Hazard: Like Valken but with RPG elements in a Front Mission setting. Play this shit it's incredible.

Metal Warriors: Gaijin make their own Assault Suits game, and it's really good. The multiplayer is great too if you can talk someone else into it.

Gunhound EX: Earlier game from the people who did the Leynos remake. Short but sweet. There are lots of Valken clones out there but this is probably my favorite.
