i'm looking for an anime mecha related.
i vaguely recall, the robots were VERY skinny. i'd say, the show was on around the early 00s, during the AXN era back in asia.
the robots were skinny, very skinny (not EVA). the setting was in space. very sorry, but this is all i recall. anyone have any names they can throw out? this is not gundam either.
the weapons were swords if i recall. much appreciated if you guys can help.

Star Driver, maybe? But that might have been later than the early 00s. Brain Powered? The only other one I can think of off the top of my head might be Pilot Candidate, but that's very obscure.

hmm. i'd say the art style looked like this. very similar to yoshitaka amano's art style - but i'm certain the anime wasn't by him. something similar.

To my knowledge, only Gankutsuou fits the description. If any other series fits the bill, I'd be very interested.

Tenchi muyo has always bothered me because the MC looks 12 and the women look 21.
Usually it would work if that was the intention, but then you watch the show and learn everybody's around the same age.
