Would the Cybertronians be new AI combat fighters, or outright aliens? I think ti could work as a new kind of Mobile suit.

Optimus Prime would start with the Federation but ultimately form a Zeon rebellion against Gihren's coup d'etat forces. Freedom is the right of all sentient beings, after all.

Megatron would start with Gihren's Zeon, but switch to the Federation battlegroup that will become the Titans when the humans refuse to drop ALL of their habitats on Earth after the success of the first.

Love the idea, because I like to think of where all the characters would align themselves. Aligning yourself with one of two ideological factions is one thing, but then having your race entangle itself in a war between two other ideological factions, I can only imagine the interesting faction fracturing among Autobots and Decepticons as they take up sides in the One Year War or even the Gryps Conflict.

Can a Transformer scan and disguise itself as a Gundam?
