Are there any shows that handle PTSD in a respectable fashion?
Not just /m/, though I know /m/ does have some anime with characters suffering from PTSD, but anime in general.

Now and Then, Here and There springs to mind.
The main character of Platinumhugen Ordian develops PTSD a few episodes into the series, but I don't know if it becomes a major part of his characterizationsince the show still isn't properly re-subbed please come back Ordianbrodue to not having seen the rest of the series.

Amuro gets PTSD for a bit, but it doesn't really seem to affect him in a long-term fashion as far as I remember.

It's not a show, it's a visual novel, but Muv-Luv does.
Penguin Memories.
I'm pretty sure there's some scenes in Area 88, as well.

It sort of is later. The world almost ends because he won't let the last of his friends sacrifice themself to save the world (after all the rest have already died saving him). Fortunately a cheap deus ex machina defeats the bad guy and brings everyone back from the dead without any input from him.Shit writing at it's worst.

Sora no Woto, specifically episode 7.
00 definitely did something great with Setsuna and to a lesser extent Hallelujah.
Nadesico is also does stuff with it.
Interestingly enough Aldnoah.Zero probably has one of the best depictions of PTSD in anime, sadly it's something that you'd have to watch a lot of trash to get to.
There are a few others I'm trying to rememeber, to be more specific non-/m/ stuff.
I know there are a few SoL series that deal with the MC getting over traumatizing past events, and I just remembered one, ReLife.
