Doing this mostly off memory so I might be a little off.

Main character and girl are a part of a team surveying Mars and find a robot, are attacked by Meganoids, escape. Are found by Celestial Being really late into S1 (like, around the time they get Trans Am and the enemies have GN-Xs) and do battle with the various enemies to Celestial Being and a few other people like FMP enemies - also a bunch of dinosaur robots called Splitters, who are going to be a part of the plot for literally the entire thing. Then Baron Ashura, the Dinosaur Empire, and eventually the Zonder show up, and you get a few guys like their enemies and Combattler helping. It's not long before you get embroiled in the Code Geass conflict too, but you work with Zero and as I recall he actually reveals his identity by Chapter 2 or something. Chapter 1 ends with the end of 00 S1, followed by an original enemy, and things start getting fuddled with because of minor changes to the plot (Graham starts changing his tune because he's around to see your guys stop said original villain, ends up being mostly not an enemy later IIRC).

In Chapter 2 you handle Star Driver plot for a little - where Star Driver's enemies are working with Ashura and the alien girl is working with Duke and Maria - with Zeta Gundam as a background (00S1 leading into an 00S2 ringed with Zeta and a bit of SEED that seems to be leading to a hybrid SEED/Destiny), until shit hits the fan. You do the Orb Fight shit, where Albegas shows up, and I want to say the Gaogaigar halftime fight happens around there. 00S2 starts, both Lockons are present at this point. Voltes shows up somewhere around here, some weird stuff with Dancouga and Dorvack in the background is going on, and by the end of Chapter 3 you fight the Z Master and Meganoids and get Banjo and J (who knows Gai thanks to a prior event).

When you wake back up, weird shit is going on, which would probably make more sense if I'd gotten around to Zegapain. It and Aquarion are going on, as well as Wing EW, and you get to see some Machine Robo stuff too. ZZ characters start popping in, and... I think CCA characters too? At the end of Chapter 4 Shatte leaves and Van Ein gets an upgrade to Van Ein Alpha, which is piloted by Asahi and his sister. As Wing and Machine Robo are here, this is when the second batch of series are getting integrated into the plot... a bit slowly, but still. (and some of the first series aren't yet, looking at you Dunbine)

Chapter 5 has Mazinger and Getter get upgrades, and I think this is when Dorvack shows up (previous post might have been wrong, I can't totally remember.) as well as Goshogun. Lots of shit happens, this is around the point where Geass plot starts getting in there, and you refight a few old enemies.

6 and 7 were mostly a jumble, I mainly remember them because Shatte shows up as a villain in a shitty disguise (there's some other shit going on though), it's where a lot of Geass stuff and 00S2/SEED/Zeta comes to head, and it sets up Chapter 8. Chapter 8 is where E7 AO makes its debut (Note: Regular E7 has not yet shown up in the main plot), the midpoint of Star Driver happens, Ribbons working with the Star Driver villains, Duke and Maria being master plotters and getting all sides of the Geass conflict on the ground working together basically (so the Black Knights, both sides of OZ, and Suzaku are on your side at this point), and it all ending with the Reshbal fight and the end of the pink haired girls saga.


This is totally ignoring all of the events (which are at least 99% all canon to the game and some get referenced at times) and unit quests (which are also almost all canon - Roberto and Kamina are confirmed dead thanks to them), but there are way too many of those.

I like the gimmick with the Chimera and Insalaum themes all sharing the same intro, but when the intro ends and the music completely changes, I always felt like I was being cheated out of a good song - even if the subsequent track was good as well, it was jarring for it not to continue what the intro started. IIRC, the full Insalaum theme was an event BGM for Uther's palace.

Not really. ユーサー and ユーシャ sound vaguely similar, but they're certainly not identical.

On a side note, he was almost as uninteresting as the other Insalaum characters. He had a good character design, good music, a cool mecha, and solid voice work, but from a writing standpoint, there was really nothing there. Honestly, as far as the actual writing is concerned, Hibiki actually managed to be the less uninteresting of the two.

Yes, but if you prioritize that they shoot the fuck up. By level 65 the stat boosts they start getting at 61 will propel them to the point of a regular, level 80 SSR (if you put upgrade materials into them), and by level 80 they're basically all powerful with the exception of a few (which are ONLY "really strong")

Fight the daily challenges and fight the people who have 1 defender. Set up one defender yourself. Getting a group good enough to auto the dailies isn't too difficult once you get going. Use those SSR Limit Breaks to break your Taikis and use those to get the event units, which can get to 80 automatically, and soon you'll have a right army on your hands.

GGGG is also a Taiki. I guess I should use him, shame shield cores are a waste since he needs 20 for his ougi.

Some of the game's best units are Defenders.

But really, if your issue is cores, line your pockets with Blasters and Fighters from the R+s. They cause Rainbow Cores to spawn. They're also just good in general (Fighters hit everything in a radius around them when they attack, Blasters can stagger pretty much anything, the price for this is... they hit slightly less hard. Oh nooooo.)
