I agree, but only for the Federation, and only to a point. Once UC rolls back around with its redesigns they managed to find a way to make the more generic GM and Gundam/Zeta suits have enough character that it was easier to overlook.

Calling Titans, Zeon, Jupiter, etc. suits generic and ridiculous though? Now you're just getting out of line.

I was mainly referring to the Federation and the Gundam suits when I said generic.

Zeon's suits always had that unique flare to them a lot of that is owed to original designs and most of their suits are a step down in comparison to the original series.

I liked Feddie aesthetics up until Victory/F91, where all sense of uniqueness in mook suits is lost. There's a natural growth of complexity from the GM to the GM III and Jegan, and then the Jesta is the most complex and tacticool. It's a shame that the Jesta is a limited production and not mass produced, because I think Jesta's are just the right mix of grunt looks and cool features.

The Heavygun and F71 were nice looking
The upgraded Jegans were also great, a shame all of them job really hard, probably the worst grunt perfomance from any UC series
But yeah the Feddie grunt suits in Victory were really lackluster, they bearly have any screen time to begin with
