/m/ has never been much for creating OC. We don't have drawthreads, we don't have writethreads. Sure, every once in a blue moon they'll be made but nowhere near the level of /co/ or /a/. That Kamen Rider game is the longest-lasting project this board ever worked on.

Our OC consists mostly of fansubs

I'm working on OC for /m/, but I dunno what format it'll take. Might be a web serial or something and I have no idea if I'll have the time, I'm already lagging on fansubs.

/m/'s OC is largely fansubs these days, and the list of unsubbed material is getting increasingly smaller. There was a point where /m/ was bigger on OC in the traditional sense, what with Project ENIS and Dragonsphere, but those days are long gone. It's kinda sad, since some of the writefags and drawfags we /do/ have are really talented and could do something cool.

I was really looking forward to /m/ VN too. It looked fun.

Mods actively discouraged OC and want everything in general threads.

We were the board that got 4chan popular for about 2 years but then mods killed most discussion of it on other boards.

Everything can be blamed on increased moderation during the early 2010s.. The only time you would see mods was for cp or gore.
