Well I can't speak for Geass fans cause I've never seen it, but for Wing it's so damn absurd and over the top it becomes funny to see these stoic-ass dudes do crazy shit and stay perfectly serious.

Like Relena stopping a mobile suit fight by flying a plane between them, then telling one fighter to kill the other anyway. Or Heero self-destructing his Gundam and not only surviving, but merely saying it hurt like hell when asked afterwards. Or Trowa doing an acrobatic triple spin-flip 20 feet into the air. Or Wu Fei getting so buttmad he starts yelling at wild dogs for being weak.

It's so stupid it's funny. Plus some neat mobile suit designs.
