Is the anime worth watching at all? I've been replaying

Starforce is hit and miss for people

To me the games give off a better vibe for the world than the anime. its kind of baffling considering what the cartoon had to work with compared to the fucking GBA hardware.

I'd say, kind of. Only if you really like BN and want more. Honestly, you would be better off if you read the manga. Both the manga and anime go in different directions than the game story, but the manga is more interesting. Though, if you are replaying the games right at this minute, you might want to watch the anime just so you can play along and get the secret codes to get chips from the number trader. That's if you want to immerse yourself like it is early 2000s again and not just look up the codes online like everyone else does.

There's a couple, like when In the show Lan gets a code to activate Aqua Custom mode one flashes across his PET. The dub changes the code so it doesn't work.

Yeah, I had always wondered where they came from since there was no source for them in North America, yet they still worked in the game. I had always assumed later on that they were just in CoroCoro or some magazine like that. There's one in the infamous swimsuit fan service episodes if I remember right. Speaking of that, does anyone know the exact episode? I need it for reasons.
