Not to me. Besides, 08th MS Team was a more character driven anime than anything. Wasn't really about the plot as much as it was about soldiers doing soldiery things in mechs. I don't think it was done super well, but it wasn't done poorly.

-Titans were total jobbers and only Yazan was interesting/fun to watch and MAYBE Jerid, even if he was the biggest jobber
-Scirocco had no real buildup and thus wasn't that interesting, he was just a control freak. I'm pretty sure Haman had way less screen time in Zeta and yet stole the show in the last few episodes
-If there are no charismatic/interesting or whatever bad guys then why the fuck would we care about the conflict.
-Mobile Suits were stolen way too many times, Katz and Fa did it way too many times just for the sake of the plot and some drama.

Good thing we had Emma, Kamile, Amuro, Yazan, Haman and Char or I would have dropped it.
