Cb suits would be superior but it's difficult to see how it would work out because the one year war is on a much bigger scale than the situation in 00.
A chance for the EF and Zeon to join arms would be if CB took control of Zeon colonies and dropped it themselves.

It works for about a month before Jupiter's energy fleet goes full Jew and sells the GN Drive tech to both sides and then you have GN powered GMs and gelgoogs duking it out at ABQ. CB would quickly become a non-factor.

Seriously, 00's space tech was apparently a joke before CB introduced GN drives. They didn't even saturate the Earth orbit much less colonize Mars or Jupiter.

True GN drives take years to make don't they? The team that made Celestial Being's were only able to make 5 in 20 years. Even if the Jupiter Energy Fleet could figure it out and manufacture them in that time it would take more than a month to ship them back alone, since space travel isn't that fast in UC (or AD, outside quantum teleportation). It'd probably take closer to 6 months just for Jupiter to get some sent back from Jupiter to the Earth Sphere alone.

And I'm not sure that One Year War tech would hold up 6 months against GN tech. Though someone is going to leak them the plans for GN Tau drives when they're on their last legs regardless, so they'll have GN Alexs and GN Big Zams out the wing wang. And then Amuro going full Graham on them and Char going Ali probably.

I wonder if the people in the Correct Century ever came across late U.C era suits. The technology of that era seems to be even more advanced than the current Moonrace tech, if you consider the SUMO to be peak suit technology.
