The story is apparantly a lot fo ideas that would eventually go into CCA were initially going to be in ZZ, but the studio told Tomino they could do the show and a movie, so he set up the show and left other people to oversee it, then focused on CCA. About 18 episodes in the show hits its nadir, and only goes up from there though, so if you can just enjoy the first half for what it is, theres some really great stuff in the ssecond half, especially when Kamille finally wakes up

ZZ is alright, just make sure to brace yourself for a full transition from SUFFERING to wacky antics starring the Argama crew and Yazan.

What's everybody's favorite part of ZZ? My favorite was when Beecha attempted to betray the Argama in favor of Neo Zeon and faced no repercussions for it.

The beginning. The first portion is a complete 180 from Zeta, despite being chronologically close. The whiplash is real.

After that it's shitposting. ZZ isn't perfect, but it gets a lot better. I think a lot of people shitpost about it because they never got over that first hurdle.

Four is pretty underrated as far as Gundam girls go, there's like no scenes were she's ugly. Also she doesn't have that typical 80's dickhead shaped hair like the other girls in Zeta
