I'll always and forever love the Mega Bazooka Launcher as a gun so big you have to dock to it to use it. It's big, it's slow and it's awkward, making it feel like a powerful gun. The Twin Buster Rifle, Double Satellite Cannon etc. might be way more powerful, but the Mega Bazooka Launcher feels more powerful simply by the amount of preparation necessary to use it.

There's a little beam deflection unit built into the tip of the barrel, lets the computer adjust the path of the beam in about a thirty degree cone. So you can just shoot in the general direction of the enemy and it will hit. For even more wide-angle shots, the EX-S has "reflector incoms" that it can deploy around the battlefield to bounce shots off of. The EX-S is really meant to be controlled by the ALICE system, the pilot is just there to tell her what to shoot. Having all the hard work be done by a superhuman AI means it can get away with some crazy trick shots.

That's not how the moon works. Even on a new moon it's still up there, just in earth's shadow. The facility for the Satellite cannon stores energy for the shot, it doesn't need to be in direct sunlight at the time you fire so long as its reserves aren't empty.

Not really, no.
Vazquez and Drake's weapons basically have aim-assist. They're self-balancing and automatically aim at the center of mass on the target. The Beam Smartgun on the EX-S just bends the beam without needing to aim the weapon itself.

It's one of my favorite gundam and the whole point of the design is to house a big cannon so I guess it easily qualify.

Just like with the hyaku-shiki (but up to 11), I liked how the power was directly connected to how massive a pain in the ass it was to actually get running.
