Greetings /m/, /tg/ here, looking for your help.
I'm starting up a fantasy mecha game inspired by Escaflowne, 5 Star Stories and that one with beetle mechs & unicorns. I'm looking for high res pictures of lots of mechs that I can print out and cut into cardboard counters to use on the game map.
I've got some, but a higher res version of pic related would be great if anyone has one. Or something similar. Recommendations on other inspirational shows to watch would be cool too.

I found a bunch, but they're mostly single portraits after this.Is it bad form here to just post images for a while after this?

There's not too many fantasy mecha shows, so this should be simple
>that one with beetle mechs & unicorns
Dunbine
Others are
Magic Knight Rayearth
Lord of Lords Ryu Knight
Panzer World Galient
Mashin Hero Wataru series
Gaiking Legend of Daiku Maryu (debateably fantasy, bad subs)
Madou King Granzort (no subs)
NG Knight Ramune series (minimal subs)
Gankutsuou (sci-fi Count of Monte Cristo with space vampires and the occasional mecha duel)
Hiwou Senki (more of a Japanese historical show than a fantasy, features not so much mecha as wooden clockwork automatons)
There are some others I could list that stray even farther from traditional European fantasy if you want a more cosmopolitan fantasy setting, but these should cover the basics
Does this fit?
If the ones on these sites aren't high res enough for your purposes your best bet would be to find archive's scans of the related artbooks and manga.

For FFS at least you can get full page art of the mechs at the start of each issue.

There's also:
Wild Knights Gulkeeva (good subs on YouTube, HKs on Bakabt)
RPG Legend Hepoi (no subs)
Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari (standalone Tenchi spin-off set in another world)
If you can find scans for the Aura Phantasm books they've got all the high res art for all the redesigned Aura Battlers

That is a big list, thank you.

Its a bit more cgi than I'm going for. I'm aiming more for thing in this >>15529279 format so I can print and cut out a decent amount of mechs to use as models. Is there a term for that layout I can use so people know what I'm talking about?
>>15529312
Yeah, I might have to just collect a bunch of them separately and paste them together.
>>15529350
Dope thank you.
>>15529401
I will look for those. There's something about the aesthetics of horned beetles that really does it for me.

>Granzort (no subs)
Bakabt has tv and ovas. Subs are mostly HK level though.
Also you forgot about Maze and Breake Blade.
>>15529525
On the subject of Maze, the LD subs are only on the Nyaa mirrors.
>>15529305
These were very useful as it looks like I'm going to have to format my own stuff for printing.

HK subs are low quality? (hong kong?) Sorry, don't know /m/ lingo.
>>15529569
Yeah, it means Hong Kong subs, also referred to as "crabsticks" here on /m/ due to an infamous mistranslation from the first episode of Mazinger Z. They're always garbled, unreadable gibberish that looks like early google translate.
Bad subs aren't always that, though. Sometimes they're the result of subbing groups that don't know Japanese guessing translations based on context in order to put something out. It reads grammatically correct, but is translated completely wrong. TV-Nihon is infamous for this

>only on the Nyaa mirrors
Not really. Baka has Cuphat version, AB has this overbloated DmonHiro rip (600-700mb per 25min episode in 480p, cmon).

About half of Yamato Takeru fits

Pazner Bandit on the PS1 and the Masoukishin SRWOG sidestory series are also really good fantasy mecha examples.
OP here, realized people might be interested in the game itself. Its called just called Mecha by Chris Perrin. Focuses more on narrative and episodic structure with fairly abstract rules than granular accountant-tech than a lot of mech games. Its easy to explain to people too, which helps a lot more than trying to teach people battletech I've found. There's a bunch of supplements for combiners, mecha vs kaiju, stuff like that. Anyway, thank you /m/.
