The Origin anime Zakus are some of the worst versions of the design I've ever seen, it's like they were intentionally trying to make the design as boring and lifeless as possible, it's just a generic zaku but with excessive panel lines, overly boxy arms, lame proportions, and the same unintimidating head as usual, when will they realize that making the head shorter and the monoeye track narrower looks much better?

AND FOR FUCKS SAKE STOP PUTTING LINES DOWN CENTER OF THE HEAD, NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS TO HAVE FUCKING PANEL LINES, THE TOP OF ZAKU'S HEAD IS MEANT TO LOOK SIMPLE AND SMOOTH.

Thunderbolt zaku II is best zaku, though I'm not a fan of the backpack.

1. The design of the Zaku II from GtO is Okawara's work, not Yas'. Yas drew the manga, but his drawings of the Origin-version Zaku II are based on the model sheets drawn by Okawara. Pic related.

2. Okawara's Origin version of the Zaku II looks like fucking shit, so thank god to HG is convertible to something more like the classic version.
