Double Zeta Gundam Hedgehog

So it's an MSZ-009 variant, another version of the Prototype ZZ. Makes sense, as there's no Core Fighter. Interestingly, it has four (Hyper?) Beam Sabers/Beam Cannon, and I'm fascinated that the Hi-Mega Cannon isn't built into the head, but instead comes from the top of the backpack and forms a goggles-like arrangement. That's neat.

The color scheme is definitely a little much though.

Oh, the gun has the same E-Pack as the Rick Dias's beam pistols, the Hyakushiki's beam rifle, the Zeta Plus's beam rifle, and the Gundam MkIII's beam rifle. The whole gun might even be one of those.

The recessed barrels in the red shoulder housings are probably vulcans, as I see no vulcans in the head.

I also dig that it has beam guns that pop outta the shins. Come to think it, adding in the guns in the shoulder shields/binders brings the total up to eight. Maybe it's called the Hedgehog because it's bristling (with guns).

But then Nagano's ZZ showed in an article in Out Magazine, redrawn by Makoto Kobayashi, and renamed the "Proto-Epsy Gundam." It's all basically fanfic, but still cool and fun.
